Teacher Rose, Teacher Rose...I have a suggestion to make! I work with positive reinforcements all the time! So instead of Lashy's retaking the test, I am proposing her to have some down time with her Akbar Shriram Khan and once she feels rejuvenated, content and happy getting a reward like this she can then update her next chapter with 1000 more words!! Reward followed by consequences!! Or else she will deliberately give wrong answers to mislead us! What say??? If all of you agree, say 'aye'!! 🤣🤣🤣

Okay everytime I write about harassing experiences at work. Let me tell you this. There is this severely autistic girl, completely non-verbal, communication is all iPad based, and this is the 5th year I am working with her in summer school. I started working with her when she was in pre-kindergarten and now she is going in to 3rd grade. Her mom asks for me specifically every year for summer school. Anyway I usually don't take breaks but others forced me to go for a break since they all take. So I handed over my kid to another person and went for a break. After 5 minutes I come back and I find her in the restroom all by herself and she looks up at me and literally gives me a full grin with a full on direct glance at me and touches the tips of her fingers of both hands, signifying a clap!! She has come a long way for me. Nobody wanted to work with her in pre-K because of her meltdowns and traumas and now at 8 she is acknowledging my presence!! Huge, huge accomplishment!! I could almost hug her! 😃 I could almost cry then, for the first time she showed that she loves me so much that she clapped for me seeing me back after 5 minutes. 😃😃🤗These things make my day, small awards that speak of benevolence and dedication.

And I can't tell you how gorgeous she looks, she has got the looks in the family!! And she has hazel eyes with greenish tint! I can cuddle her all day if I could!! Everyone comes up to me and compliments how well she is doing and how stunning she looks! 😃

This is my 'Ai Khuda' moment!! 😃

Lavanya part and parcel of my job, it happens almost everyday but yesterday simultaneously 3 incidents was too much to handle all at once along with my own student!
