The two most famous ones are probably K3G and Mohabbatein

So Waddesdon Manor became Raichand Mansion:

And Longleat House became Gurukul Academy:
A large country house in England

Are there any other movies that did the same?

Queenstown, New Zealand. One of the best tourist towns in the world was used as Sundarnagar in Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. It was bit foolish to get people to believe that. Especially showing Sundarnagar airport and town as something so modern and big but when you google the place and it's small hillstation which doesn't 1/10 beauty of Queenstown

Vikaram Bhatts "1920"

It was set in 1920 Palampur India but the haunted house they showed was actually a castle in North Yorkshire, England

I really cannot recall names right now... But this used to be esp. true of regional movies where budgets were smaller and traveling abroad had many restrictions, but now even they spend(waste) money on foreign locations whether story demands or not

😆

But that is fine I guess...as it was an indoor shoot.

However when outdoor locations are used, it becomes glaringly obvious and makes movies look unrealistic.
