Ishwari is not a bad human being we know that; no one can deny her hardships and vulnerabilities, and what she has been through is extremely unfortunate.
However, as a viewers we have also witnessed how bad she was with Sona because of her own baseless insecurities.
Sona had nothing but respect, love and care for Ishwari and whole Dixit family. Yet, Sona received humility, anger and bitterness in return just because of Dixit family's weird dynamics.
We've seen Ishwari suffocating Dev with love and guilt, we've seen her manipulating circumstances and truth for her own convenience. Moreover, she shows partially towards her daughters and has audacity to be vocal about it, and also she used Neha's situations to cancel dev and sona's honeymoon.
Dev and sona may not be aware of extent of her insecurities but as viewers we know, thus, find 'Ma Bhakt' not digestible.
Dev would rather hurt himself than find any fault in his 'devi ma' just like his reaction when he found that Ish arranged Ritwick alliance, and now blaming himself again. Ishwari is a type of mother who couldn't see her own son's broken heart, and was responsible for it but refused to believe. She refused to believe Dev was happy with Sona because she was not the source of Dev's happiness.
This is so soo wrong!! Mother is mother cannot be life partner, mother's place cannot be replaced because its auspicious and life partner's place is different. Please maker do not justify it.
This is your show, your story; and as a viewers it was our decision to invest in your story. Yet, we want proper storytelling to address this issue, which is core story of this show.
Please show Dev understanding his mother, which he should as he is a devoted son. And he should address her insecurities without hurting his mother.
Please makers do not disappoint us. Take your time but it will be really unfair on many loyal viewers if they do not get proper closure.

Once Ishu Mata is back we can see maa beta pyar and ho ho music. Till then let's enjoy devakshi scenes😆
As usual, the moment Ishu maa enters me mutes the TV. Can't stand her. I guess now maa beta pyar will be more intense.

This is not to say that a mother does not have right on the son or the son should not love the mother but what Dev and Ishwari is not healthy.
There have to be boundaries and some amount of space that should be given to each. And this space is something the son must ask for and the mother must herself give
How can the son be a mother's saathi? Or Vice Versa.
Completely screwed philosophy
