Even if there was no Khan Sahib in her life, she would've lost the farmaan and worse, everything else too with Khalil behind her!

But doesn't make it easier to deal with when the very reason she lost the Farmaan and her rights is the last person she hoped would take them away from her😭...

The statement you've made... 'If he wasn't in her life, things would have been far worse' is something we as viewers can say since we are being given an equal glimpse into their lives and we know everything about them both... but, at this point she knows nothing...

It is a sentence she will say one day though, when things are fine... when she looks back at it all and she realises what a gift it was that jiji sent Khan Sahib in place of her, to take care of little Harka!

It might seem she loathes him. But, if that's the case, her heart wouldn't have skipped few beats at his proximity. She would've felt disgust like how she felt in the presence of Khalil. She observed how gentle his grip was though firm..unlike that monster's! Heera knows her Khan Sahib is nothing like Khalil but how can she come to terms with all these things so soon.

Even I can't bear anyone ridiculing Akbar's painful past. So, it's better if he gives her some time. And I'm sure she's gonna heal all his pains, both past and present!

Actually, I liked that part of him... he has given her everything... ready to give up even his life... but he will not give up his sense of self-respect😊

Thanks for those beautiful reassuring lines from AMK and letting Heera feel reassured albeit for a very short period! And AMK calling her Heera in his husky voice was..uff.

ONE Engrossing conversation that made up the whole chapter yet so gripping and I felt it got over so soon.

6000 words... that's not soon! But I guess when the two most important (dare I say, interesting???) characters fill up the space, space doesn't feel 'filled'

TWO Akbar dealing it the way he knows best - business. When emotions, sentiments, soft appeals, reasonings nothing worked, his change of tactics to present a profit and loss statement was the most natural and interesting.😆

Loool... cheeky of him! Personally, I loved writing that part about him too... it rubbed her the wrong way... but it also got her to 'how dare you mode...'

THREE Heera's refusal to see reason is perfectly justified. His refusal to acknowledge their relationship then, she sees as because his work was done, he wriggled out info and didn't need her any further then, and his acknowledging the same now as an underhand tactic to appeal to the people or some other sly reason.😕

Exactly.. and she did ask him the questions... but he had no answers to give to those specific set of questions... btw, talking of tit-for-tat, I liked the way she finger-counted and showed him how his lies far outweighed anything else at this point

FOUR This is the case of the perfect misunderstanding. Both of them are right in their views. Both can feel very strongly, yet regain their composures and think practically. What lovely characters you have designed Lashy.🤗

FIVE Both of them inspite of their best composures, feel butterflies in each others proximity. He inspite of her latest painting of him as the devil incarnate and knifey attacks and she inspite of what she saw of him as the biggest betrayer. His 'Heera' practically destabilised them both for sometime.😳☺️

Like AMK once said...☺️ 'Attraction is a strong drug...' these two have felt it since the first time they heard each others' voices...

Heera is suffering so much. She is broken from within, so broken that she no longer trusts. But I felt even more sad for AMK because he really does not merit all this hatred and distrust from Heera.

She is not ready to listen to him at all. It hurt me a lot to see two such wonderful human beings like Heera and Akbar in so much pain.

No no... she did listen.. she even asked questions... but he didn't have the answers... not for to the questions that mattered right now anyway... she listened, but she can't believe... and when someone's betrayed you so much... (she hasn't seen been or lived through AMK's life so she doesn't know everything he's been through) and when so many have betrayed you, it's very difficult to trust... especially a man she still hardly knows... worse, she caught his men bragging about his victory over Khalil... bragging about winning Parnagarh!

It's tough to trust again! At one point she trusted him beyond everything... but after such a massive betrayal... he'll have to work at it or let time do it's healing...
