I won't go into analysing the episode because many people in the whole forum have done it already.. and beautifully as well... Plus I think the episode is just beyond analysis.. it was just.. perfect I guess. Everything was connecting well.. I think this whole decision of a spin-off was actually really good because it finally gives them screen time to focus on the Shivika relationship hurdles instead of NB saazishes and near-death experiences. This is why the Shivika relationship was just running helter-skelter with no poignant moments.
Ok coming back to episode. I know a lot of us are thinking as to why Anika is all of a sudden 20Q'ing Shivaay about their relationship and her status? why is she talking about love when two weeks ago she truly believed that he would never accept her as part of his world, let alone love her.
This whole marriage I believe is Anika's plan to draw Dushyant/Robin out. Because she knows from before the wedding that the guy is truly in love with Tia and is not happy with his wife marrying some other man. That's why he took her away on the wedding day..So I think she feels that if the wedding happens again, he will react in some drastic way again which will draw him out.
But her biggest challenge is to convince Shivaay to agree to the wedding.I think this whole Spanish Inquisition on Shivaay is part of Anika's plan. Not to reveal his true feelings. But to make him react in a way that he usually does. The last time Shivaay proposed to Tia, it was because he was so freaked out with the way he was acting on the painkillers. He figured out there was something between Anika and him. So he ran for the hills ..or rather Tia.. and put her between them as an imaginary barricade. So I think she is trying to re-create that same effect by pressuring and cornering him so he reacts impulsively and agrees to the wedding.
And this whole decision to leave. This is just further proof on how deeply she understands Shivaay. She knows that no matter what happens, he will always think about her needs and well-being first. She know that there is no way in hell Shivaay will let her go out into the world to fend for herself.. with no home.. no job.. no memories..He will do something..anything.. but he will make sure she is safe and protected. They don't call him "The Great Wall of Shivaay" just ainvayi..
Regarding Shivaay, I know he felt betrayed by Anika and feels that she does not trust him. But I believe she trusts him blindly..like beyond levels of insanity. A proof of that I think was in yesterday's episode. The whole sleep-walking scene.. I don't know about you guys but I think it was complete china ka maal..ekdum fake. I think she did it to get more info on the NB team. But then she had to follow through the act.. even when they were hurtling her towards her death. But she went through with it.
Because, on some level she KNEW. She just KNEW. That he would save her. Just like he always does. Just like he always gets there in the nick of time. After all he SENSES it.Maybe this is my overactive imagination. But if this is true, then her dedication to him and blind faith in him is actually beyond madness.
Lastly, the confession. I know a lot of us want Shivaay to confess his feeling for her. But I think their relationship is just beyond the words " I love you." I feel "love" is a very small word to describe their connection. It's just something that is on a completely different level. But this realisation will happen. With time and patience and nurturing it will happen...
At this point of time, the best way to define their relationship is:
" Ek aisa rishta jisme ek dusre ke liye marna ya mit jaana gawara hain. Par ek saath jeena gawara nahin"
