I actually like wearing red and gold.But if someone doesn't want to,they should be able to wear whatever they want to wear.

Nah my parents were totally fine with my sister wearing anything except white & black. She fell in <3 with a red-gold lehenga is a different thing. 😆 I would adore wearing a full-gold or a gold + yellow lehenga!!

C'nion: Hi5! Lavender is my current fav too. You could wear it as a sangeet colour or something. Which community are you from?


P: I looove the Bengali bridal look!! ESP when you guys wear Benarasi saris! You could wear a berry pink/fuchsia/magenta, close enough to red if your Mum is too insistent on it.

I <3 red & gold too, together & individually, but this policing over what to wear & what not to is so stifling, it's like, it's my fuxking wedding let me wear whatever the f**k I want to!!!!!

yeah I mean it's my day let me enjoy it in my way.Noone deserves to look back at her wedding photoes and feel that I wish I could wear this and did my hair like this if only I was allowed.
