I think it's the other way around. Alia has been praising Kat from a long time i.e. when Kat was Ranbir's GF and was the hottest thing. Either she really likes her or waiting for JJ/TZH to release so that she can finally ditch her.

I saw an article that referred to Katrina's visit to Jhalak Dikhla Ja and she sort of ignored Jacqueline on the sets so I don't know how friendly she really is. I used to think of her as sweet and friendly earlier but now I find her a little fake. Something about her is off.

My point wasn't that she is buttering Alia up to get projects through her recommendations but that she is trying to make a relevant circle of friends, the most popular people in the industry. And that too right after break up, when she wanted to focus again on her career. It seems very shrewd to me and I think it is well known that she is a sharp businesswoman and knows that she needs to work with the right people in the right films, in the right dance numbers to be successful.

So what is wrong with networking? Surely not a crime. Or am I missing something?

About her not talking to JF... well considering the blinds early this year... I don't think she should/has to talk to her. Anything to put her down. It's good that Katty is reaching out to ppl as she is now powerful enough to make things work for her...whatever those maybe.

Looks like the fact that she isn't whining /giving out statements about her break up..is not really sitting well with ppl...not just directed at you TM

Most celebs these days keep mum about their break ups. Only very few wash their dirty laundry in public and considering how image conscious and guarded about her personal life Katrina has always been, it isn't a surprise. What is surprising though is how quickly people are willing to get personal with those who criticise their favs. Not just me but others who have your comment directed at them.

I don't think any of these BW people have
Genuine friendship & I see no genuine friendship on Kat & Aloo's side either.
For one, Kat is much older to Aloo & AB doesn't seem the type who can gel well with people much older to her, eg Fawad who looked at her with amusement + mild annoyance during most of K & S PR, SRK who she got along very well but really, what would he talk to her about beyond a point, lol. Ran deep who quite liked her nut there was a clear distance again. The only one she got along very well with was Shahid. But then he did marry Mira. 😆

PCJr seems to be genuinely very fond of Kat & Kat is being so social post her breakup. Even if she is doing it to stay relevant I say power to her!

Well, I find Kat a pretty fake person and smart so I don't think she would have a problem fake-gelling with Alia. She is anyway pretty adept at behaving like a schoolgirl in most movies 😆 I think it's annoying that her increased sociality seems so targeted and manufactured.. I wish Katrina was more genuine and it didn't seem so planned.

I thought I must not know about some behind-the-scenes info about the status of their friendship but it seems there's not much to it :/

^^ Yes I think they're all fake & AB is smarter & shrewder than Kat though Kat is NO pure flower like her fans believe her to be. Loool. But then who amongst them is, it's a shark-eats-shark world & Aloo is bitchy enough & petty enough to rub her KJo connect into Kat's face b/c however much he might gush over her hotness & BODY etc KJo will any day choose Aloo & Kat's ex who he seems pretty obsessed wit considering how all the KwK S4 Qs were mainly on RK like how this season's are mostly on Aloo; over Kat. Strategising to stay relevant when prima-facie she is accepted well & coochie-cooed with, is a smart idea. Her career has taken one hit after the other so she needs all the contacts she can generate ESP after her breakup with 1000 Khoon Maaf Ranbir!

I know she's fake but I find her much less fake than say, PC or Ash etc.
