The parents thing- Either he misunderstood the question or meant it. I think it is alright 'cause frankly, not everyone has a good equation with their parents. Parents are also human can make blunders in raising their children. I wish our society didn't deify them. Anyway, he does seem to have forgiven them, so as long as they're happy, good for them.

Spank my booty with your chittiyan kalaiyaan- I think Sid looked a bit annoyed with all of Karan's innuendo, frankly. He tried his best to play along. Sid isn't the perpetual performer, so I can understand.

Rate according to acting skills- Yeah, that was totally based on his personal equations with the actresses. Alia over Kangana lmao. He couldn't really have rated otherwise 'cause then the actresses he does have a good equation with would have been like, "Why did you do that?". I don't want Sid to only be a part of KJo's gang though. He should have his own identity and be known as an actor first.

What did you think overall? Did you enjoy the episode?

I thought that Sid had a good equation with his parents, but maybe things were difficult between them when Sid was struggling in Mumbai?

Overall- I liked it. Expected it to be very cringe-worthy but actually was entertaining.

Equation with parents- Yes, maybe things were not good when he was struggling in Mumbai. Coming from a family with no connections to acting, I don't think his parents would have been on the hype train for a BW career. Maybe then he had to rely on himself and didn't have too much support.

All this is speculation, of course.

^^Yeah, btw I agree that we should not deify parents. I guess he must have had problems with them when he was struggling in Mumbai. Parents can get stressed about not seeing their kids settle down/have a career by a certain age.

In one interview, Sid did mention that his parents were very stressed/worried about him when he was struggling and used to keep wondering what he was up to.

Natural for parents to be worried. Also, Indian parents tend to become critical when they're worried about you unintentionally dealing a blow to their child's self-esteem.

I am glad things are better now.
