Many a times when you visit a thread, it seems it is only for a particular sex 😉, and this is more prominient on DM

Many a times the name's of the threads are self descriptive, I dont even bother to open them 😆

May be we need "I Agree" and "I Disagree" buttons like Thank You button so we can get an idea on silent readers stance. It will be encouraging to the poster.

I don't agree with you. There is not a single topic that stop you to express your opinion.

I think we all like to read more than express our opinio due to timing of the topic. If the topic was started when its morning in India, its night time in Canada and working mothers like me are busy with their children. By the time, I read the topic, go through 10-12 pages, so many people has already said what I wanted to say.

Should we use THANK YOU button when we have nothing to add so that the person who started the thread will know that we appreciated their efforts???

97-98% of IF members are females 😛 ... so if DM has post particularly about females.. its no surprise or bias position. When females discuss something.. they know the potentiality of replies by females...

If there would be a MEN's majority forum .. there will be posts which belong to a "Particular sex" ... No doubt about that.

Reasons for being silent (in no particular order):
1. Someone's been quicker than me.
2. Sheer laziness/apathy!
3. Prefer to debate/discuss/argue with people known to me. I don't have to worry about offending them and thus can debate/discuss/argue freely.
4. Double Taurean (doubly stubborn, obdurate, opinionated at times!)
5. Dislike typing
6. Too tired or too busy to formulate a coherent response.
