The mahurat of Vikram Phadnis' debut movie Hrudayantar was quite a star-studded affair as a galaxy of Bollywood's A-listers descended to congratulate the eminent fashion designer. One spotted Amrita Arora, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sohail Khan, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Ritesh Sidhwani and Abbas Mastan. But the two actors who attracted maximum attention, all because of their presence under the same roof at a press event were Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan.

Says an eyewitness, "Arjun was the first to arrive. In about 15 minutes after his arrival, in walked Malaika Arora much to everyone's surprise. This is one of those rare occasions when both were present at the same function. Though they didn't interact much in front of everyone, two things caught the public eye. When Arjun was breaking the coconut as part of the mahurat tradition, Malaika was guiding him from her seat. She was also later seen checking with Arjun if he has met Vikram's mother who was seated alongside Malaika."

While swirling rumours of Arjun's alleged relationship with Malaika Arora Khan continue to make headlines, the danseuse staunchly denied these rumours in a cover interview given to a women's magazine recently where she called Arjun "a very good friend" and said that people often misconstrue things.
Meanwhile, the mahurat clap of Vikram's movie was given by none other than King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar congratulated Vikram on his new film venture and wished him the same success in film line as he has tasted in the world of fashion.
