Camaraderie between actors and producers, especially if the actor is the discovery of the Producer is usually strong, secure and compatible. It is believed that one needs to be faithful to his / her own mentor and guiding force, irrespective of the line and profession one is in!!
This guru - disciple bonding gets too strong in the entertainment industry, wherein the fate of an actor and producer lies on the show they have been working on.
Now, the producer and the actress, who believed they can create magic on television with their relentless hard work, are Rajan Shahi and Hina Khan.
Hina, who was a shy and under-confident girl from a small town, was fortunate to get a mentor in Rajan Shahi, when the latter hand-picked her for the lead role in his Star Plus show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Personally grooming her with techniques to look good and act well, Rajan laid a platform for the actress to blossom as an actor.
Rest was history, as Hina sizzled in the role of Akshara and became a household name in quick time. Today she reigns in the hearts of billions, as the adorable girl, loving wife, responsible bahu and dutiful mother from the successful show which has had a long run of eight years and is still going strong.
But the bitter fact that is visible to all today is that Hina and Rajan do not share the same wavelength, and certain irreparable situations and controversies have left a bad impact on their bonding.
It's evident that all is not well between the ace producer and actress!!
Today, Hina Khan is not part of the show which gave her all the stardom, and her exit from the show was certainly NOT amicable.
Apparently, Hina has been of late telling people that she got a great farewell from Director's Kut and Rajan Shahi's team when she decided to move out of Yeh Rishta. However, the reality is a tad distasteful.
A credible source tells us, "There was no way that the Yeh Rishta team would have given Hina a rousing farewell. In fact, it was a good riddance for many on the sets, after going through all the ordeals created by Hina over the years that disrupted in the normal flow of shoot."
So what exactly pushed the Yeh Rishta team to give Hina an untimely exit and termination?
According to our sources, the final nail in the coffin was an incident when Hina returned to the set after her so-called dengue setback. The show had already suffered with Hina not being able to shoot owing to health problems. And when she returned, she stood adamant not to shoot a scene where she had to praise her on-screen daughter Naira. Hina entered her make-up room and locked herself, and simply refused to come out even after the pleas and requests of all in the crew. đ¤˘This was the day when the channel and production felt that they have had enough of Hina's unruly behaviour and did not intend to continue with her anymore.
It is also believed that Rajan gave Hina a piece of his mind on the day, clearly specifying that she is certainly not indispensable'.
Post this, the channel and production jointly took a call to not shoot the remaining portion of the scene with her.
Another big yet bitter fact is that the production apparently terminated Hina's offer, even when her dates were available.
Our source confides, "One fine day, Hina was literally asked not to come and report for shoot from the very next day."
It is already known to media and the TV viewing public that Hina created unrest on the set in all ways possible. Her insecurity with the younger cast, her erratic timings, her habit of making a mountain out of a molehill when it came to her sickness, her attitude of instigating the younger cast against the production, were simply intolerable.đ˛
Our credible source on the set tells us, "In fact, we actually used to get a shock and simply could not believe the double-faced attitude of Hina, especially when the media was on the set. Everyone in our team used to laugh seeing her fake sweet behaviour to please media."đ
In an industry where a loving and accommodating Producer like Rajan Shahi remains the God Father' to all the actors he has groomed starting from Sara Khan, Angad Hasija, Kinshuk Mahajan, Parul Chauhan, Neha Sargam, Shrenu Parikh, Karan Mehra etc, Hina comes in as a bad example of being someone who has certainly forgotten her roots and reason for success.
Commendable indeed, with regards to the channel and production for maintaining their dignity of their extremely popular show by not getting into a war of words with the actress in public!!
Certainly, life moves on and this holds good for everybody!! So will Yeh Rishta and so will Hina...
But it's an underlining fact too that this ugly tiff between Hina and the Yeh Rishta team has left a bad taste in the industry.
We buzzed Hina Khan, but she as always chose not to respond to our calls.
