I don't think She's changing her name because of yuvi's mom. yuvi's mom don't even have a proper Sikh name, then why would she ask hazel to do so?

Marriage took place in dera of Baba Ram Singh Ganduan Wale
He suggested to change name before marriage ceremony could take place...

Maybe that dera had hard time writing Hazel Keech in punjabi!!
