Unlike Cong government which used to dilly-dally with the issue (Naxal), using conflicting strategies (talks/negotiation versus force), BJP always has a stand (to fight them). This is time for them to show their commitment.
ManMohan Singh govt had no leader, lead to anarchy.
Modi's government is too autocratic. All power centred with one person. Obviously one person (however efficient may be) cannot handle everything. A good leader should know how to outsource the tasks(/challenges) to his efficient colleagues, letting them take the credit for their accomplishment.
During PV Narasimha Rao's time, Khalistan movement completely vanished from Punjab. All the credit was given to K.P. S. Gill. That is PVN style. Can Modi outsource some of his power/responsibilities in Kashmir/Naxalite issue to some capable hands? Why is he acting like female leads of Indian soap, who want to solve every problem on their own?
Modi has a lot to learn from PVN on Transformational leadership. PVN had clear vision of what he wants to do. He put efficient people in the key posts and let them take credit. He assigned MMS to go with economic reforms. He gave power to K.P. S Gill in Punjab to curb Khalistani movement. He sent opposition party leader (Vajpayee) to hold talks with Iran at difficult times. Each one gave their best performance, including MMS.
Soon after Modi government came to power, India rescued thousands of people stuck in Iraq, Yemen. How much Sushma Swaraj was credited? Is there any other person who is been praised under Modi's govt? (I agree, no one has been blamed too. But that's not how it should be. Modi should not be criticised for every problem in India too. Right now, there is no clear boundary of his capabilities and limitations.).
