Being a Bengali... I never see Dhak at any wedding in my life😕
today at SBS I heard there was Dhak sound at BG...
that instrument use for Puja's not at wedding...
in wedding there might be Sanai,Tasha and all... not Dhak...😲
aur kya kya dikhyenge...

Do you really think even an ounce of research was done on Bengali culture? I don't think so. They probably took inspiration from Bollywood version of Bengali culture. Be glad they did not make Sona and Elena dance at her wedding on Dola re dola because Bollywood showed that.

I don't think they did any research on Bengali tradition only about banarshi saree and fish they know about bangali wedding.
Bangali wedding is not only saree and fish. even the Kannadan and sat fare they showed is not correct at all. Bangali wedding never ever happen in this way.

If you show any trading at list try to be with that nearest possible not like just show anything

I think in any media should think before they spoil any tradition. As media has a very big impact on everyone's believe.
And Bengali wedding is always two days afire and takes longer then anyone and they are showing fare round havvan kund which is not correct at all.

What? Mamta and Yash patnaik is from orissa, our neighbor state .. Then they should know about bengali wedding at least... Expected a lot from them ...at least they should not hurt the sentiments of bengali people by making a huge issue on veg, non-veg...

First of all hello fellow bengali :D
This is exactly what i thought after i saw the video. Dhak is never played at a weddding! But at this point it just added to the atmosphere because Durga puja technically starts tomorrow too! :P
