As soon as the episode ended, I googled the synonyms of Pain.
To express what the episode was, I found these words. .
Ache. .
Agony. .
Distress. .
Misery. . .
Wound. .
No word, I found apt enough, to express what Dev, Sonakshi, Ishwari and even Ritwik went through today.
What an emotional episode!đ
Made me teary eyed, yet again.
The episode starts with Sonakshi running to take Dev to his home.
Ritwik and his family, her family left behind, in shock. The family is questioned about how Sonakshi left her engagement for her 'ex'. R's father and sister were sure that whatever happened was because Sonakshi wasn't faithful, that She was very much with Dev.

It is hard to find such gems in the society these days, not because you broke the engagement, but because you did not judge Sonakshi in rage, for what she did, instead you could put aside your pain, which I am sure was no less, to look at her state.
He says they aren't meant to be, and points out to Bijoy that he is trying to avoid confronting the issue too.
Sonakshi and Dev reach IN. Ishwari waiting in anticipation of whether her
Vishwaas was kachcha, or her Dev.
She is shocked to see both are weak. Dev in a lifeless state brought by Sonakshi. Limping, almost unconscious.
Oh my! Dev is so so so broken. Mamaji rightly said
Bacha kya hai isme? Aatma toh gayi!đ
This boy, he is so scared to lose Sonakshi even for a second. . He apologizes to her for hurting her so much, for ruining her day. He pleads that he did not intend to break his promise, that she would be 'free' once the engagement was over.đ
He thought he will be able to control everything, asks her why! why He felt like he was dying when the ceremony was happening.
Tumhe to sab pata hai na, batao aisa kyu hua?
Dev is such an innocent child at heart. Really as vulnerable as an eight year old.
Buried under the pressure of living up to everyone's expectations. He said
Mai marr jaunga. Par kya karu? Mar bhi nahi sakta. .and he thinks about his family!đ„ș
It is that pain which doesn't let you live, or die.
The most beautiful scene of the episode was when Sonakshi got up, and Dev fell down and pulled her and Sonakshi fell down on the floor too. That was just two hurt hearts crashing.đ„ș
There was something so touching about their conversation, so intimately shared emotions, it all felt so real!
Sonakshi admits she can't see it in this state, that she may pretend to be strong everywhere but he is her weakness.
Dev doesn't want her to go, he doesn't let go of her hands, holding her so tight till Mama intervenes.
I wonder why did Ishwari not let maamaji intervene first? Was she equally hurt for Devakshi? I think she was. She was shocked to see what she thought was a 'Barsaati Naala' had so much depth.
Mamaji comes down and the realization dawns upon Sonakshi, that yet again she came running for Dev, leaving the whole world, her family aside.
She has no other option but to leave.
Such a painful moment when Dev does not want to let go of her hands, and she has to leave. They both being pulled away from each other!

Ishwari is back to square one as she comes down to him, but only temporarily. Finally she is forced to look at what she has done. No, her punishment for her wrong-doings is not being told off by Dev, but to witness the downfall of her Son, how he has been destroyed just because of her.
She closes his ears, she doesn't want to tarnish their bond, She knows she is at fault, but she does not want Dev to hate her! Mamaji said the bitter truth without any hesitationđ
Sonakshi reaches the venue, Everyone is aghast at her step and Ritwik takes her to talk.
He forces her to see the truth, she has been running away from. That she never moved on. .but was only pretending to. When Sonakshi finally says she still loves Dev, he says
Ye realise karne me tumne bohot der kar di!
And Sonakshi realises how hurt R must be. That she was no different than Dev. She apologises but turns to see He is gone! Poof!
Like magic, to hide his vulnerabilities from her, to hide his pain .. He no longer had a place in her life, as soon as he confirmed it, he vanished, without wasting a second.
