Excellent post! You've summed it up really well! 👏 It's certainly a pressure cooker waiting to blow. I understand what you mean about Dev asking for permission. I think he's still clinging on to hope that his mother is not has bad as he has begun to believe. I think that her refusing to let him go will be the final blow needed for him to be convinced that his mother doesn't have his best interests at heart. And then we will start seeing a total u-turn in Dev's attitude towards Ishwari.

For me, Sona has really been the interesting one. As you rightly point out she's really unsettled and likely regretting her haste in challenging Dev to marry by the end of the month. She is nowhere close to being over Dev, in fact, if anything she's drawn even more to him. She's was so relieved when she saw the apology and desperate to convince everyone that he wasn't at fault. I'll be really interested to see if she goes through with this.

Well I don't even want to discuss about Dev and his mother because they are totally useless. Like someone rightly said, Dev, in his senses can never speak non-sense to his mom. He might feel a 1000 things in his mind but he somehow manages to bottle them up and speak in a manner which pleases her. Its these bottled up emotions that are going to play havoc on the engagement day when he comes home drunk. I don't know if he would remember all this the next day but yes, a drunk Dev blasting Ishwari was very much necessary.

Coming to Sonakshi, yes she wanted to somehow come out of the break-up. Maybe she wanted to tell Dev not to take her for granted and so what if he left her, she had many suitors waiting at her door. Or she wanted to ensure her parents were happy. Whatever the reason, it seems to be fading away. Time is the best healer. With time, the initial anger has gone and has been replaced by why, what, how etc. But its too late in the game and she finds herself staring at her own engagement with someone whom she met a couple of days ago and clearly does not still love him. So that restlessness at not being able to do anything to forget Dev or move out of this engagement mess is going to catch up with her.

We all feel the Boses have been very supportive. Well I think they should have waited for the anger to subside before pushing Sonakshi into another relationship. If this engagement does break, the Sens have every right to be angry at the Boses and insult them for making a mockery of them in front of their guests.

If the engagement is not called off, I am not sure how they are going to take this track further.
