More than Duryodhan,I will blame Dhritarashtra and Gandhari.Especially Gandhari.Dhritarashtra was blind.Literally and figuratively.But Gandhari had a choice. She chose to turn a blind eye towards her sons.If I were in her place,I would have never allowed Shakuni to linger anywhere near my children.

I am just saying that he cant be singled out as cause , as it was a clumination of many events

Like Dritrashtra completely ignorin his son's mistakes and doing injustice with pandvas for blind love for his son , Shakuni poisoninig duryodhan's Mind from Childhood , Bhishma's vow that he himself wont sit on hastinapur throne , like this there have been many causes

I blame Dhritarashtra and Gandhari as well.

Gandhari ends up cursing Arya for establishing justice.
