FF : Dev & Sona's Guardian Angel || Chapter 5 added

The story has progressed from the current track to where  Sona decides to part ways with Dev because Ishwari asks her to do so and she knows Dev will never go against his mom's will, so she steps back herself without telling Dev anything about what Ishwari says. She pretends as if she's not interested in Dev anymore and Dev is both confused and heartbroken.

Dev alone at night in his room, trying to sleep but can't. He remembers all the beautiful moments he had spent with Sona & then remembers how Sona broke up with him.

Flashback

Sona enters Dev's house just when Dev is about to leave for office.

Dev: Sonakshi, tumhara phone kahan hai? Subah se kitni baar try kar chuka hun. Kahan thi tum? Main abhi tumhare ghar hi ane wala tha.

Sona: Kyon? Aap mere ghar kyon ane wale the?

Dev: Because I was worried about you. Mujhe fikr ho rahi thi apki...aur...(Sona interrupts)

Sona: Mr.Dixit apko meri itni fikr karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai. Main koi chhoti bachchi nahi hun.  Main apna khayal khud rakh sakti hun.

Dev: Miss Bose...(meanwhile Ishwari comes from the kitchen..)

As soon as Sonakshi sees Ishwari, she walks into the kitchen without completing her conversation with Dev.

Ishwari to Dev: Beta tune nashta kar lia na?

Dev: (looking towards the kitchen) Haan maa, kar lia, chal main office jata hun.  (touches his mom's feet and leaves)

Ishwari goes to Sonakshi and says: Maine tumse itne dino me pehli baar kuch manga aur tum wo bhi mujhe nahi de payi.

Sonakshi: Nahi maa...(stops)...aunty ji, aisa nahi hai. Main aaj hi Dev se baat karne wali hun, aap mujhe thoda waqt aur dijiye..main shaam tak unhe sab bata dungi.

Sona texts Dev: "Meet me at the coffee house at 6pm today."

At the Coffee House:

Dev: Kya hua Sona, mujhe yahan kyon bulaya?

Sona: Mujhe apse kuch zaruri baat karni hai.

Dev: Haan bolo...

Sona: Dev, main...main chahti hun ki...wo...main chahti hun ki...

Dev: Ms. Bose, kya baat hai...koi problem hai kya? Agar aap mujhse apne dil ki baat share karne me itna hesitate karengi toh kya matlab hai humare relationship kya.

Sona: Haan, aur shayad bina matlab ki baton ko jitni jaldi ho sake chhod dena chahie. Main apse yahi kehna chahti thi ke...I don't wanna be in a relationship with you anymore.

Dev: (in shock, ofcourse) Kya? Sonakshi, ye kya keh rahi ho tum...? Iska matlab bhi pata hai tumhe?

Sona: Haan Dev, mujhe har cheez ka matlab achche se pata hai, aur aap please ab mujhse aisa karne ka reason mat puchiyega, apke liye bas itna jaanna kafi hai ki main ab apke saath nahi rehna chahti. Aur main apki di hui job bhi chhod rahi hun, aap aunty ji ke lie koi aur nutritionist dhund lijiye.

(Sona stands to leave...)

Dev:  Lekin Ms.Bose...

Sona: Aur please ab aap mere ghar kabhi mat aaiyega aur na hi mujhe contact karne ki koshish kijiyega.

She leaves. Flashback ends.

A tear drops from Dev's eyes as he tries to make futile attempts at sleeping. He turns towards the side table near his bed and looks at the bottle of sleeping pills. He picks it up and is about to take one pill, but before he can put it in his mouth, he remembers how Sona had forbidden him from doing so. He puts it back.

Next morning

Dev goes to Ishwari's room when he's leaving for office. Ishwari tells him that Soankshi hasn't come today.

Dev: Haan maa, janta hun wo aaj nahi ayi hai...aur shayad kabhi ayegi bhi nahi...

Ishwari: Dev, beta kya hua tu itna udaas kyon lag raha hai?

Dev: Kuch nahi maa, aaj ek bohot important meeting hai, raat ko uski taiyyari kar raha tha islie thik se so nahi paya. Main chalta hun.

(Touches her feet and leaves...)

Ishwari kind of guesses that Sona has broken up with Dev and that is why he is sad. She feels terrible about being the reason behind his unhappiness but can't do anything about it.

Dev reaches office.

Tina: Sir, apko yaad hai na aaj humari Mr.Kapoor ke saath meeting hai.

Dev: Ofcourse yaad hai, ye shayad iss saal ki sabse badi deal hai, iske bare me kaise bhul sakta hun.

Tina: Sir meri Mr.Kapoor ki secretary ke saath baat hui. Wo meeting unke office me karna chahte hain aaj sham ko 5 baje, aur wo waqt ke bohot paaband hain, islie hume thoda pehle hi pahuch jana chahie.

Dev: Thik hai...tum mujhe wo documents mail kar do, meeting se pehle ek baar check kar leta hun.

On the other hand Sonakshi goes to the same hospital to get the job she used to do earlier. But they refuse to give her the job saying that she was supposed to get it only when she successfully completely the job given by Mr. Dixit & not when she left it midway. She becomes even more upset on hearing this.

While she's returning from the hospital, she is walking on the road thinking about how everything changed so quickly from a fairytale to a nightmare. She thinks about the past, when she was in love with Dev and Dev had no idea about it...how he proposed her...and while thinking this she doesn't concentrate on the road. A truck is coming at high speed from behind...

The truck is about to hit Sonakshi, just then, a man comes from behind to save here, pushes her across the road but she gets slightly injured as her head hits a tree.

The Man: Dhyan kahan tha apka? Road par aise chalte hain kya?

Sonakshi: Actually wo main kuch soch rahi thi...aur truck kab agaya pata hi nahi chala...sss(holds bleeding head in pain)

This Man: Apke sar se toh khoon beh raha hai, chalie main apko hospital le chalta hun...

Sona: Nahi main thik hun, hospital jaane ki zarurat nahi hai...(tries to walk, but her head spins..)

The Man: Dhik raha hai aap kitni thik hain, chaliye mere saath...

(He takes her to the same hospital outside which all this happens, Sona is given first aid, and the doctor asks the man how the accident happened..)

Doctor: Mr.Kapoor ye sab kaise hua?

The Man (who is indeed Mr.Kapoor): Ji, ye sadak par chalte hue sapne dekh rahi thi, usi ka nateeja hai.

(Sonakshi gives a confused look to the man and the doctor)

Doctor: Anyway, chot zyada gehri nahi hai, maine kuch medicines de di hain, ghav kuch din me bhar jayega. Ye ab ghar jaa sakti hain.

Mr.Kapoor: Thankyou Doctor.

(The Doctor leaves)

Sonakshi: Thankyou, aaj aap sahi time pe nahi ate to pata nahi kya hota...

The Man: (smiling) Kuch zyada nahi hota, do chaar haddiyan toot jati, ya phir yaadasht chali jati, use zyada kuch nahi hota.

Sonakshi starts smiling too...

The Man: I'm Rohan, Rohan Kapoor...main isi hospital se nikal raha tha jab maine apko raaste par dekha.

Sonakshi: I'm Sonakshi...main isi hospital me pehle job karti thi, as a nutritionist.

Rohan: Karti thi?? Ab nahi karti?

Sonakshi: ji nahi...(looks uncomfortable answering further)...ab mujhe chalna chahie, ek baar phir apka bohot bohot shukriya...

Rohan: Chaliye main apko drop kar deta hun, abhi aapki tabiyat thik nahi hai...

Sonakshi:  Nahi its ok, main chali jaungi, apko pareshan hone ki zarurat nahi hai, main already apka bohot time waste kar chuki hun...

Rohan: Dekhiye aap jaise road pe chal rahi thi, wo dekhne ke baad mujhe aap par bilkul vishwas nahi hai. Aur chot ke saath to main apko bilkul bhi akele nahi jaane dunga, islie aap behes karne me time waste mat kijiye aur chalie mere saath.

Sonakshi: thik hai..

(They leave together from the hospital in Rohan's car, the time now is 5:00pm.)

Meanwhile, Dev has reached Rohan Kapoor's office for the meeting but he himself has not yet come.

Rohan's secretary to Dev: Sir Mr.Kapoor thodi der me ate hi honge, aap kuch lenge.. chai coffee?

Dev: No thanks. Apki Mr.Kapoor se baat ho to unhe inform kar dijiyega ke hum yahan aa chuke hain.

(He's already upset & is losing patience now)

Rohan and Sonakshi talking to each other in the car.

Rohan: Toh Sonakshi, ab aap kahan kaam karti hain?

Sonakshi: Abhi main kahin kaam nah kar rahi hun, I'm looking for a job.

Rohan: Oh..ok. 

Sonakshi: Aap kya kaam karte hain?

Rohan: Main ek businessman hun, mera khud ka software development firm hai..."xyz app dev"

Sonakshi: Kya? Aap "The Rohan Kapoor" hain?? The mastermind behind 2015's best app worldwide!!

Rohan: Well, that's embarrassing but...Apko inn sab cheezon ki kafi jankari hai...I'm impressed!

Sonakshi: Maine apke bare me ek magazine me padha tha... (that magazine is of course the one with Dev's pic on it's cover so it reminds her of Dev and she becomes sad)

Rohan: Kya hua aap achanak se chup kyon hogayi?

Sonakshi: Kuch nahi...bas kuch yaad agaya tha...aage se left lete hi mera ghar ajayega..

Rohan: okay...

They reach Sonakshi's home. Sonakshi gets out of the car.

Sonakshi: Aap andar aayiye na, chai pee kar jayi...

Rohan: Nahi phir kabhi...actually meri ek meeting hai, main late ho raha hun..aap apna khayal rakhiyega.

Sonakshi: Thik hai, once again Thanks for everything.

Rohan: You are welcome. Bye..

Sonakshi: Bye!

Rohan leaves. Rohan reaches office at 6:15. He enters his cabin where Dev and Tina are waiting.

Rohan: Hello Mr.Dixit..I am so very sorry mujhe aane me der hogayi, actually ek zaruri kaam me phas gaya tha.

Dev is very angry but he obviously can't express it since the deal is very important to him.

Dev: (in a sarcastic tone) No problem Mr.Kapoor. Hum bhi kuch khas punctual nahi hain. Meeting shuru karein?

Rohan: Sure.

Dev: Ye kuch documents hain jinme humare abhi tak ke launch kiye sabhi versions ke in-built software ki details hain. Humara next launch market me bohot bada hone wala hai. Islie main chahta hunk i iss version me koi bhi kami na rahe, we're working on preparing the best possible hardware. Aur kyonki aap ki company ki expertise software hai, hum chahte hain ki iss version ke saare softwares aap hi develop karein...Apki company ka iss launch aur iske profits me 50% share hoga...

(and some more technical conversation takes place between them..)

Rohan: Toh thik hai Mr.Dixit let's finalize this deal...I'm sure we'll get something good out of this.

Dev: Definitely. Thanks a lot.

They shake hands.

Dev: Main apko baki details kal tak mail karta hun.

Rohan: Sure. Have a good day.

Dev: you too. (He leaves)

Two Days Later, at Rohan's office. Dev and Rohan are discussing their project.

Dev: Mr.Kapoor main chahta hun ke ye phone har age group ke logon ko pasand aye, islie hum har tarah ke features add karna chahte hain. Bachchon ke lie games, educational apps, adults aur old age ke logon ke lie navigation apps, official suites aur health related apps jaisi cheezein humare phone ko market me boost karengi..

Rohan: Hmm, I understand your point...main apni team se discuss karke kal tak detailed plan of action present karta hun. Aur jald se jald hum is par kaam start kar denge.

Dev: Sure.. phir hum kal milte hain. Aap mujhe documents mail kar dijiyega.

Rohan: ok, See you tomorrow.

Dev leaves.

Rohan discussing the project with his team.

A staff member: Sir, hum ye saare apps build tabhi kar sakte hain jab humare paas in fields se related experts ka guidance ho. For example, gaming aur office suites ke lie toh humare paas log hain. But ek effective aur achcha health app banana ke lie hume kisi doctor ki zarurat hogi.

Rohan: Haan, tum sahi keh rahe ho. Let's hire a doctor. Koi aisa jise health aur nutrition ki achchi samajh ho, aur saath hi saath aaj ke mobile users ki demands ke bare me bhi pata ho. Humari HR team se keh ke jaldi ek recruitment advertise karwao.

A staff member: Ji Sir.

A week later. Dev and Rohan at Dev's office.

Dev: Perfect! Ye app kafi amazing hai, I'm sure bachchon ke lie aisa app ab tak market me launch nahi hua hai. Mr.Kapoor, aap aur apki team ka kaam dekhkar mujhe puri ummeed hai hum target time se pura kar lenge. Ab baki ke apps jab develop ho jayein aap mujhe bula lijiyega.

Rohan: Thankyou Mr.Dixit, humne is project par kafi invest kia hai, toh result toh achcha hona hi chahie.

Aage ke apps jaise hi ready ho jayenge main apko inform kar dunga. Ab main chalta hun.

Rohan leaves.

At Rohan's office. An employee from the HR department enters Rohan's cabin.

Rohan: Haan Mr.Sharma, kya apne doctor hire kar lia?

Mr.Sharma: Nahi Sir, humare paas kafi saare applications aye the, magar sabka interview lene ke baad koi bhi unme se iss job ke lie fit nahi laga. Hum isi lie abhi tak kisi ko hire nahi kar paaye.

Rohan: Par Mr.Sharma is wajah se humara kaam delay ho raha hai. Aap apni HR team se kahiye mujhe kaise bhi 3 din me kam se kam 4 achche well qualified doctors chahie aur unka interview main khud lunga.

Mr.Sharma: Ji Sir.

Rohan: You can go.

Mr.Sharma leaves. Rohan is now stressed as his work is getting delayed. He leans back on his chair and closes his eyes. All of a sudden he remembers Sonakshi. He remembers that she was a nutritionist and looking for a job. He is elated and immediately leaves for Sonakshi's house.

At Sona's Home. She's sitting sadly on the sofa and Elena is talking non-stop, not realizing Sona isn't even listening.

Elena: Tujhe pata hai maine Sarojini ki sale se kitne saare kapde kharidne ka plan banaya hai...Sona?... SONA..!!

Sona: (shocked) Kya hua?!

Elena: Main itni der se bakwas kar rahi hunt u sun hi nahi rahi...kahan khoi hai?

Sona: Kuch nahi yaar wo job ko leke tensed hun...2 hafte se itni jagaho par try kar chuki hun abhi tak kahi se call nahi aya..

Elena: Don't worry...tujhe jald hi ek achchi si naukri mil jayegi...aur jab tak nahi mil rahi tab tak to chhuti ke maze le..! Chal aaj hi shopping chalte hain.

Sona: Nahi Elena, mera mann nahi hai..tu jaa.

Elena: Dekh main tere bina toh jaane wali nahi hun, ab tu sharafat se maan jay a main maashi ko bulati hun.

Sona: Please yaar...

Elena: MAAASHI...

Sona's mom comes.

Asha: Kya hua kyon chilla rahi hai?

Elena: Dekho na maashi main Sona ko shopping par chalne ke lie keh rahi hun par wo yahan muh latka kar baithi hai, chal hi nahi rahi hai.

Asha: Sona beta, chali jaa na...thoda mood fresh ho jayega..

Sona: Par maa...

Asha: Main kuch nahi sunungi, jaa tu.

Sona: Okay, main taiyaar hokar ati hun.

Sona and Elena leave the house.

Sona: main apna phone toh andar hi bhul gayi, tu auto rok, main leke ati hun.

She goes inside to bring her phone. By then Elena has stopped an auto, and when Sona comes out of the house, Elena tells her to come fast because the auto was standing on mid road. Sona starts running. But as soon as she comes in front of Rohan's car, he applies the brake! Rohan comes out of the car.

Rohan: Aap sudharne nahi wali hain na. Mujhe lagta hai apka road pe chalna hi ban karwa dena chahie. Arre ye road hai road, marathon nahi hai, aise daudta hai kya koi sadak pe?!!

Sona: I'm sorry, wo main auto pakadne jaa rahi thi...par, aap yahan kaise?

Rohan: Main aap hi se milne araha tha, kuch zaruri kaam hai.
