Actual history of Illuminati is,in the days when church forbid the ideas of Galileo, Da vinci etc, they formed a secret society, naming it as "Illuminati" which means "The Enlightened ones". The founder was Galileo and he would write clues as a 4 lined poem and scattered it in his 4 books . Those who are intelligent enough to solve all the clues finds the Illuminati lair (which is in Vatican city)and join as a member where they would discuss and share ideas without fearing about church. Aristotle, newton, Da vinci, are some of the esteemed members of illuminati.

I don't know whether the meaning changed today or what, But the true Illuminati is no satan worshippers, they are knowledge worshippers.
