Shahrukh and Rohit Shetty film shelved

Yes, the duo aren't on good terms anymore...

We all knew Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty were good friends and great partners. The actor-director duo shared a great bond and after their first film together - Chennai Express became a HUGE hit, they reunited for another action packed film last year - Dilwale. While Dilwale was one of the most anticipated films of last year and it was expected that the film would shatter all kinds of records, nothing of that sort happened. It clashed with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukones Bajirao Mastani on December 9 last year and while everyone thought that Dilwale would crush the period film, it in fact bowed down to it and the latter triumphed at the box office.

And now we hear that Rohit and Shah Rukh have been fighting and arguing over the failure of Dilwale since then. In fact, the duo were supposed to collaborate on a third project soon. However, with Shah Rukh blaming Rohit and vice-versa, this film has been shelved.

As a source told Hindustan Times, "The film that Shah Rukh and Rohit were supposed to do together next is now shelved. They both hold each other responsible for the failure of Dilwale. Rohit feels Shah Rukh made a big mistake by releasing Dilwale on the same Friday as Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani. Shah Rukh feels Rohit didn't work hard enough on Dilwale. The parting has not been amicable."

We had even heard that Rohit had put Golmaal 4 on hold for SRK's film, but looks like they have parted ways now. The superstar will start work on Imtiaz Ali's film next, while Rohit is starting the shoot for Golmaal Again with Ajay Devgn soon.
