Harman is serving the puris to the pandits when some guy comes & stops his hand saying this marriage can't happen. Harman stares at the guy & the guy stares at him back. Harman calls him Varun & asks f he is really here. Varun says he heard Harman was marrying, so he came. Varun looks towards the pandits & asks them to leave after lunch, but there will be no marriage. Harak Singh asks Varun what is he saying? Harak Singh's decisions aren't like seasons that will change. All of them have decided to get Harman married to this girl, so this marriage will happen. Varun calls Harak Mamaji & says this was just Harak's & Harman's decision. What about Preeto Mami? Girls have finished putting mehndi on Saumya's hands & ask her to open her eyes. Saumya opens her eyes & sees her mehendi with awe & says it's really pretty. Surbhi smiles. Saumya complaints why did Surbhi close her eyes? She couldn't see her mehndi as well. Surbhi says so what? She at least saw Saumya's upcoming life with closed eyes & that was a beautiful life. Other girls ask Saumya to find her fianc's name in her mehndi design. Surbhi finds it before Saumya & those girls tease Saumya saying Surbhi is already eyeing her husband, she should be careful about it. Surbhi's face pales. Saumya smiles & says her sister is the best sister of the world & she'll never hurt her.
Varun says to Harman that he doesn't believe him. Harman's promises are very fickle & can change at any moment. Harman fakes looking wounded & says how can Varun doubt his brother? Okay, he will swear by keeping hands on Preeto's head. Preeto slaps his hand away & asks if he has gone mad. Preeto does want him to marry, with great grandeur & then produce grandchildren for her...but not with this girl. She wants Harman to marry some other, better girl. Varun asks but what's the guarantee that a different or better girl will be to Preeto's likings? What if the other girl is smarter & doesn't obey her mother-in-law like this generations' girls. This girl will at least keep her head bowed & will obey Preeto. Harman says and wasn't it Preeto who taught him to respect women? He did mistake by kidnapping her & so he must marry her now otherwise it will be disrespecting her, a woman. Preeto finally agrees for the marriage. Harmak grins & Harak Singh looks smug 😆
At the end of mehndi ceremony Saumya & Surbhi were sitting together. Surbhi says she'll go & fetch some foods & drinks. It has been such a tiring ritual. Saumya nods while looking at her mehndi. After Surbhi left, Saumya stands up & comes near the balcony railings while still gazing at her mehndi. Mahindar sees her alone & thinks before things turn too nasty & she shames him in frond of whole world, he will do her vidayi, from this world forever ! 🤢 He creeps closer to her silently & was about to push her when the veiled woman comes & stops him. Saumya turns towards them, feeling them close & the woman makes some excuse saying Saumya's father had asked her to nazar utaro of Saumya so that nothing bad happens with her & performance the nazar utaro rituals. Saumya gets happy & when the veiled woman asked her to go to her room since a bride shouldn't be out in the open until her marriage is done, Saumya nods happily & walks off. The veiled woman then turns to Mahindar & warns him again to stay away from Saumya. Otherwise she'll reveal the truth in front of everyone & shame Mahindar brutally. Mahindar looks pissed.
Nimmi sees the veiled woman walking in the home & asks her why she's still in their home after she promised her a time span of 21 days? She should have known that she won't keep her promise. Her offer was too good to be true. The woman tells she was there to save Saumya & tells what Mahindar was about to do. Nimmi is shocked & says she never thought it will come to this & thanks the woman. The woman asks her not to thank her since ultimately Nimmi's dreams will shatter & Saumya will come with her only. That is what will happen & what is best for Saumya.
Saumya is standing in front of the mirror & wondering something when Nimmi finds her. Nimmi asks her what was she thinking about? Saumya says people were saying to stay in in-laws' house she had to learn many things, had to behave perfectly & win their hearts. But how will she do it? Nimmi never taught her anything about that. Nimmi sighs & says she didn't taught her those things because she never needed to. Saumya is perfect & will win everyone over easily. She then explains the meaning of a marriage to her & says an woman's true astitva (existence) is in her in-laws' house only. She will have to be a Shakti & find her astitva there, will have to make everyone aware of her astitva. Saumya looks confused.
