And I can go on and on about your beautiful posts on Gan's thread from YHM 2.0...your gifts and positivity were some of the best things on IF at that time!

1. Where is Muthu when you need him?
He's in a safer and less melodramatic home...Bhalla house is just too much for the poor soul

2. Is it possible for YHM to work with Shagun remaining 'white'? When other shows have done double 'heroines' before, why not YHM?
Modern, realistic shows could show Shagun as white so long as her entire being doesn't hinge on IshRa or the Bhallas
But BT especially loves it's sautans so no chance b/c apparently aunties think Sauntan Wars are the biggest thing to hit TV since we got colored TVs 😆

3. What happened to Raina Singh?
She had a brain and realized Bala wasn't worth this circus 😆

4. The most overrated actor in YHM? The most underused character?
Overrated: Shagun
Underused: Mihir

5. The complete redemption of RKB- possible?
Probably not b/c they throw him in too deep, but if Ishita every voiced her feelings or stood up for herself...it would be the start of a redemption b/c it would give Raman a chance to introspect. I think they could give him a redemption in the sense of making him a hero again by giving him tracks where he takes the lead in solving issues and from there build him back to his previous glory. Kaash they cared enough about Raman 😭

ok...i just realized i could technically go on forever and that's not fair... sorry to everyone else. Thanks for indulging me in all my sleep deprived glory. Hope the GIFs are good compensation.😳

PS: KY2-I'll never let go of my dream to get you to watch, I'm just giving u a break now coz I'm awesome...and coz ur busy...and I don't want you to cut me off, I have too many questions bout zoodles only you can answer😛

PPS: Even if you try you could never be a TRP auntie- esp as long as you're friends with cool, young, hip, happening people like me🤣

Oh what online shopping did you indulge in? I'm itching to do some of my own...I just wish it was easier to order indian clothes from india to the state online 🥱

Have you checked out any of the Sony shows? I feel like you may enjoy them! I want to watch, but I personally can't shake my YHM induced aversion to desi soaps despite my TRP aunty status...b/c I know these shows will be good and I'll get attached or something weird 😕😭

I'd love to hear y'alls response on these Qs too b/c they are fun! 😳

4. If u meet taks wat wud u do first ?? 🤣 Act professional, contain my disdain for him, and order him an urgent neuropsychiatric evaluation 😃😆

@Krishy- Oh I heart-Sabya-Loub collection. AD's jaipur collection i just crazy pretty , also the jewellery.

We shopped a dress online But I usually do my online desi shopping at Pernia's and http://in.exclusively.com/

I tried the Sony shows , couldn't connect much . They are low on OTT melodrama for now but lack meat for me. I would rather hope for a nice arc of IshRa 😆, Ky2 spoiled us too much.

Oh , Also check wedmegood blog ( only after your exams). 😆

I love AD, Sabya , Anamika Khanna (only lehengas without capes) , less blingy TT ones too. But there are young designers who are really good too, just access is through emails and all but nice stuff.

IshRa Arc - I would have handled Mani better. You know made them talk it out, Raman's insecurities and Ishita's assurance. He is simply there to reflect Raman's emotions or contrast. They emphasize on contrast more. Hence the whole Mani vs Raman.

I had this desire of watching Raman and Ishita work on intimacy over an arc. Like build up to it, through crafting her hesitation, under-confidence, to his reassurance ( drama less ) and about them . Like if there was a Mani insecurity arc , I would have let the dynamics between IShRa work it internally not through him. So, you know it could have been the point where there be a shift in their intimacy and relationship and slowly , gradually build towards the consummation . This arc should have been all about them, with no drama pushing for it. I hate what they did with the c-night. Absolute mess.

Mihir - Oh Yes, underrated . You know , I would have taken over Raman-Mihir work conflict. Personal and Professional conflict over Ashok's kaands. Like give them the conflict and by the end make sure, they both know , work or not, they have each other's back always. Even if it needed Ashok for melodrama..be at it. Gives Raman -Mihir a private space.

Mihir-Mihika- I think, the 3 couple were interesting. Vandu-Bala had reached the stage of completely understanding. Mihir-Mihika were on it and Raman-Ishita were discovering the sync. If they would have taken the 3 stories and worked on it. But then, 20mins, IshRa-main arc, Ruhi-Ishita, Adi - Shagun ..gaah.

This couple would have broken up in Ekta's land.

Raman- was rare in the sense, rarely you have a unique template of ML- single dad, betrayed. I think , they pushed for the anger mode alot more to sell it but it could have worked better had they worked on some of his other traits.

Ishita- We rarely hear her "I" . This and cvs attempt to make her a idol of sorts. I would have preferred her as a bit insecure yet vocal. Especially for Raman at some point because that takes away his insecurities too.

Also, keep the parenting arcs, independent of OTTness and just basic regular stuff. Like, Adi-dating, Ruhi's education . heck Shagun's angle could have worked there where we would have IshRa vs Shagun or Ishra and Shagun working together. If at all.

I think, this show has too many characters and it needs to shed a few unwanted ones. Shagun ain't going. Ashok should have but then a villain is popular too. Param . Sarita . Show is about IshRa so it becomes difficult to work them all around in the timespan. Cut few of them.

I love your sarcasm and your witty comments, so I find it hard to believe that you think you're funny in the real world as well! But then I guess YHM does bring out another side of everyone because I am the least bit serious and mature like everyone thinks I am in real life! 😆

A YHM related question first?

If you got a chance to play one of characters on YHM, but apart from Raman or Ishita...who would it be? And why?

A forum related question.

Name two members you find it easiest to talk to and why? And two members whom you find it difficult to talk to (not because you dislike them, but because you and the said person don't come to a common opinion, or its hard to win an argument with her/him 😆)
