Death on the sets of Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma

The sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma witnessed a tragic incident on Thurday when the show's head production controller Arvind Marchande passed away.

An entertainment web portal reported that Marchande suffered a heart attack and died on the set itself.

The report quoted a source that Arvind complained of uneasiness and chest pain. However, people present on the sets thought that it must have happened due to indigestion and he was given ENO for some relief. Nevertheless, after some time things got worse when he couldn't bear the pain and collapsed.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. The sudden death has come as a shock for everyone and shooting had been called off for a day or two.

Producer Asit Modi and other people associated with the show paid a visit to the hospital to offer their condolences.
