Might not happen and things could run smoothly but seeing as Atharv has seen Guddi & Chintu run away and in the OLV Vividha is saying that they've been gone since the previous night, I doubt Atharv has had any time for his project deadline because the amazing guy and lover he is, he would be trying to save Guddi and helping Viv possibly. What if he misses the deadline?

Or they could completely skew the timeline and make both things happen all fine 😛

knowing Hindi serials, they can make him miss the deadline or completely screw over the timeline(they tend to do this a lot, they really have no sense of time) but does missing the timeline, delays the engagement also right? I guess that's the way they will go

What is the challenge? When he starts his project, he will be engaged, right? The date is not important,I think.Anyway, engagement is not going to happen anytime soon

You have a point, he may or not not miss the deadline!
And to be honest, even if he didn't, I don't think Vividha will ever agree to the engagement because of Kalaish, she would never ever go forward with it, & that will ultimately hurt Atharva once again.

Atharv's smart enough to handle his own situation and then Vividha's as well. I'm really hoping he doesn't miss his deadline because the boy has worked much too hard to have come this far for nothing. He needs to put himself first for once and not be bogged down by external drama. Irrespective of if he directly helps Vividha or not with finding Guddi, at least Vividha will know that Atharv was right about Chintu. So in that I hope Vividha thinks practically. Frankly I can't be bothered to care about the engagement because any time these huge declarations are made on Atharv's end, Vividha ends up hurting/disappointing him. My main goal is for Atharv to push his project into high gear, and somehow end up saving the day, regardless of Vividha choosing him or not. And if she doesn't, its high time then for Atharv to start choosing himself and not letting his goals and passions be diverted just because Vividha is scared or confused.

^But nor is it Vividha's fault if she 'hurts' him by refusing because she's not the one who has put the deadline in front. It's Atharv who is asking her to choose which tbh seems a bit unfair to me.

No of course not! Which is what I mean when I say I want Atharv to focus on himself at this point. He needs to both realize that putting himself first, and leaving Vividha alone right now are the best thing. He shouldn't be putting her in a place she's clearly not ready for, and because he's done this before and Vividha hasn't always followed suit, he has to learn that he can't put these conditions in his love for her. It's making the situation worse for them both not just him. The more he stays away from her though, the clearer Vividha will see her own feelings for him.

We expect Atharva to be selfish n more careful regarding his work but he has integrated the two together, his love n his dreams. I wished he had taken a back seat with regards to Vividha after the incident in the party but as his mother said his love overshadows everything.

Vividha needs to connect the dots herself n unmask the web of lies her father has woven around her. Yes her confusion regarding Atharva is understandable and hence the need for Atharva to take a step back. She needs to confront those fears, her reasons for not accepting him...

Since they are emphasizing that there will be no zabardasti, hoping a more emotional outcome...

Being a daily soap and that too a romantic one, it's hard to keep the leads apart even if it's for few episodes. That is why we see them together the very same night Kailash insulted Atharva in the party whereas we were expecting Atharva to be angry n frustrated at the turn of events.
