Shiny Doshi, who shot to fame as the sari-clad typical Indian bahu with her lead role in Sarojini, will don a swimsuit in Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant. The show will witness her entry as Samaira, who is Karan V Grover's ex-girlfriend on the show. The show will see the actress undergoing an image makeover, and will see her in a role that's very different from her bahu avatar.
When contacted, Shiny said, "I'm excited to play this role. It is ultra-glamorous and is very different from what I have played in the past. This character will bring some spice to Shaan's life. I'm excited about shooting in a swimsuit for the first time. Initially, I was hesitant to wear the piece onscreen but slowly I realised that it's for the character. So I decided to shed my inhibitions and go for it."
