He had a girlfriend, I had a boyfriend
He was my friend, I was his friend
He was my roommate, I was his roommate
He was my classmate, I was his classmate
His girlfriend was my best friend; my boyfriend was his best friend
He was attracted to me, I was distracted by him
He said he never loved his girlfriend, I said my boyfriend never loved me.
He said he had strong feelings for me, I said I had been loving him
He was nervous, I was frightened
He hugged me, I felt sparks.
His girlfriend had no interest in him; my boyfriend had no time for me
He wanted to get out of his relationship; I wanted to run out of my relationship
He was emotionally strong, I was emotionally weak
He said, if he is not needed then he must leave; I said, I can't because my guilt is all that controls me
He was angry at me, I was making him understand.
He said, he wanted me, but I denied.
He crouched his head, and leaned onto me;
He sealed his lips with mine, and kissed me.
His eyes had tears, so had mine.
He said he wanted me, but I had no choice.
He waited for my answer, but I couldn't reply.
He left me, and I couldn't see his face for weeks.
He might have left the college, I fear.
His girlfriend was busy with my boyfriend, in his absence.
My boyfriend betrayed me, finally!
I realized my love for him, and what he said was true
He was right, and I needed him.
But he left me, all alone.
I closed my eyes, feeling isolated.
But when ,
I opened my eyes, and he was there
Lying beside me, playing with my hair
I was glad, that he came back years ago
When I cried my heart out talking to him over the phone,
He said, he loved me, and was always there for me
And that he was just waiting for me,
He came and proposed me, that day,
But I again had no choice, but to agree
It was deep from my heart and soul, and not from my guilt
He gave his heart to me, I gave mine to him.
He kissed me, I kissed him
With the crowd in our wedding, excitedly howling at us
And finally he and I became we,
And ever after, our life is a glee!
