Anyway, here is the third chapter. This time, we have two more people joining us in Dwaraka. Welcome Mahishi and Amit!! π
CHAPTER 3
The Sena chitchatted with their idols, doing their best not to
reveal too much yet, but knowing Krishna anyway knows.
It was nearing lunch time. The Sena didn't know the kind of
food they would get here, as some of them were very specific about what they
eat. To make it easier on the hosts, as well as on themselves, a few of the
girls of the Sena decided to offer a helping hand to Shri Krishna's Bharya.
Janaki, Sumi, Ramya, Srutha and Shreya all went to help the
ladies cook, while the others decided to stay behind and relax, as well as talk
to all their idols.
Once the five of them left, Shri Krishna's eyes had a
mischievous twinkle.
"I have a question. Can we prank your friends?", asked He.
"You can. But I don't think Srutha Di will fall for pranks
easily", said Charvi.
"She is also a prankster", said Shivam.
"Is she?", asked an amused Krishna.
"From what Shreya Di told me, Srutha Di can sense a prank
easily, and usually never gets caught", said Proteeti.
"Shivam Bhaiya, you can't complain about Bhabhi when you are
as bad", said Mili teasingly.
"And what are you, your Bhabhi's laadli?", asked Shivam,
making a mock stern face.
"I am the baby of the trio", said Mili, grinning.
Charvi shook her head at Mili's childishness and took out a
paper and started writing.
"Arre partner!", said Shivam. "What are you writing?"
"Case solving only", said Charvi.
"Let me help", said Shivam.
"Bhaiya", came in Shreya.
"Hi Di!", said Charvi.
"Hi Shreyu!", said Mili.
"Hi Shreya. Tell me, what's up?", asked Shivam.
"Apparently, all the appliances we use in the future have come
here for cooking", said Shreya.
"So we get food we love?", asked Shivam.
"You do, as long as you are nice to Sru", said Shreya,
smirking and going off to the kitchen.
"Wait! What? Now I can't dream of pranking that girl", said
Shivam.
"Bhaiya, you as well as I know that she will give you what you
ask for", said Gauri, suddenly popping up.
"I know she will", said Shivam. "Except for LakshMila stories"
"What is LakshMila?", asked Shriman Balarama, a little
confused.
Shivam didn't know what to say, for Shriman Balarama was
swayam Shri Lakshman in His previous birth.
"It means Rajkumar Lakshman and Devi Urmila together", said
Charvi, calmly from beside Shivam.
"But why join their names together and say it like that?",
asked Dau.
"It's this fancy thing in the future. People call it
shipping", said Lakshmi, and went on to explain what shipping was quickly.
"Shivam Bhaiya, Arijit Bhai, Mahi and Amit Bhaiya are here"
Ramya came running in to tell Shivam and Arijit.
"That's great", said Arijit, smiling.
"Hi Bhais", said a bouncing Mahishi.
"Hi Mahi! Hi Amit!", they both chorused, and then introduced Mahi
and Amit to the Treta yuga and Dwapar yuga people.
Mahishi was staring very dreamily at both Krishna and Arjuna,
much to the former and Dau's amusement.
Ramya nudged Mahi, causing Mahi to blush and look down in
embarrassment.
Meanwhile...
The women had finished cooking. The ladies of the Treta and
Dwapar Yugas were a little surprised to see the kind of food the Kali Yuga
people ate. It was even more varied that what they ate.
"I am sure Swami will like the Aloo Paratha with makkan Didi",
said Satyabhama.
"He is bound to", said Rukmini.
"Priye!", said Mahi, walking into the kitchen.
"Hi Mahi! What's up?", asked Srutha.
"Shivam Bhaiya wanted to know if you are going to teach people
about your astra and your Shakti", said Mahi.
Srutha rolled her eyes and said, "Fine. He gets no aloo
paratha with makkan"
"Arre Priye. Don't do this to poor Bhaiya", said Mahi, grinning.
"We will see", said Srutha pertly, giggling with all of them.
"You and Shivam are good friends?", asked Rukmini.
"We are like siblings", said Srutha, grinning.
"We are all a big family", said Janaki, grinning at her fellow
Sainikon.
"We will go and announce lunch. Please do join us for it",
said Satyabhama.
"We will help you serve", said Srutha.
"No no. you are guests", said Jambvathi.
"We helped with the food. Please can we help in serving as
well?", asked Ramya.
"You are all our guests", said Rukmini. "How can we ask you to
serve?"
"I get what you are saying. Alright, we have a deal", said
Janaki.
Catching onto what Janaki wants to say, Srutha continued, "Let
us serve only part of the food. Whether it's what you all made, or what we
made"
"Wouldn't what we made be a good idea?", asked Ramya. "That way,
we can also tell them what it exactly is"
"That is a good idea", said Shreya.
"Please?", asked Sumi, the youngest of the lot, turning
hopeful eyes at the women from the previous yugas.
Following her head, the other five also made hopeful and eager
eyes. Their eagerness broke Rukmini and Satyabhama down. With a look at each
other, both the Queens agreed to let the six of them help with serving.
After lunch...
The entire Sena were sitting under the green trees in one of
the beautiful gardens in Dwaraka.
"Sru, be happy I didn't tell Kanha about your butter love",
said Shivam.
"It's not like He doesn't know Bhaiya. He knows more about us
than we know about Him", said Srutha.
"That is true", said Mili. "As natkhat as this Govind is, He
is everything else as well"
"Exactly. Which means that He got us here for a reason", said
Janaki, pondering.
"But what would that be?", asked Srutha, sudden tears forming
in her eyes. "I will be right back"
Srutha got up and ran away. Shreya, Charvi and Mili rushed
behind her.
The rest of the Sena looked at each other in concern.
"I think she is a little emotional", said Janaki. "After all,
she loves Kanha"
"You are right Janaki", said Shivam.
"Pranaam!"
The group of friends were startled to see Shri Krishna,
Shriman Balarama, and Princes Bhima and Arjuna standing there.
"Pranaam!", said all of them, standing up.
"We were just wondering what you were up to", said Krishna, a
charming smile on His face.
"Just talking, that's all", said Shivam. "Please do join us"
"Dau and I will. Bhim Bhaiya and Parth have to get back to
Jyesht", said Krishna. Seeing the sad pout on almost everyone's faces, Krishna
said, "I think they can stay for a while"
The Sena, particularly Ramya brightened up.
"I see four people are missing", said Dau, looking around
curiously.
"We are right here"
Srutha, Shreya, Mili and Charvi walked in to the clearing.
Srutha had a huge smile on her face.
"Sru, mood swing much?", asked Janaki.
"Yep. Shivam Bhaiya, you better be careful", said Srutha, lips
quirking.
"This is unfair", said Shivam. "Why am I always the one who is
on the receiving end?"
"And Sru isn't?", asked Anokhi, defending Srutha.
"She also is, but..", said Shivam.
"No buts, Bhaiya", said Sumi.
"You women", said a disgruntled Shivam.
"My friend, here is a tip. Don't go against herds of women.
They will always stay with each other, and support one another", said Krishna.
"You should know, Kanha. Your wives always gang up against
you. And with good reason", said Dau.
"What good reason? I am so innocent", said Krishna.
"You are anything but that, Krishna", said Rajkumar Bhima.
"Majhle Bhaiya", said Krishna, pouting.
"Grow up, Kanha. Don't pout", said Dau, rolling His eyes
affectionately at His younger brother.
"If I ever try that on Sru, she will kick me", said Shivam.
"Bhaiya, I am grown up only", said Srutha. "Just crazy after
meeting you all"
"So now you are blaming me for your craziness?", asked Shivam.
"She was born with it", said Shreya, rolling her eyes.
"I might have been", said Srutha, smirk adorning her face.
"Srutha, what is going on in that diabolical mind of yours?",
asked a worried Meena.
"Nothing. Just being myself. And thinking", said Srutha.
"What about?", asked Krishna, His eyes twinkling with
mischief.
Dau shook His head. Oh Good! His little brother was upto
mischief.
"An idea, which can hopefully happen", said Srutha.
"What would that be?", asked Krishna, His grin becoming wider.
"A prank war", said Srutha, her eyes full of mischief.
"I call dibs on Srutha's team", said Ramya, grinning.
"Why dibs before they even decided?", asked Arjuna, causing
Srutha to smirk, and Mahi to giggle.
"Well", said a blushing Ramya. "Sru is one of the masterminds
in pranking in our group, along with Shivam Bhaiya..."
"I get to be with Bhabhi, and Shivam Bhaiya is with us. We
three can never be separated", said Mili, interrupting Ramya.
"That I know. Yet another reason why I chose Sru's team", said
Ramya.
"Fair enough", said Krishna, grinning. "Of course we can have
a prank war. We can pick the teams tomorrow, and then we can work out the rules"
"Yes!", said an excited Srutha.
"I don't know if this is a good idea", whispered Janaki to
Lola and Meena.
"It is. We will have fun, you crazy kid", said Lola, grinning
at Janaki.
Proteeti looked at Krishna, cheeks red, eyes with love.
"Pro? Oh Pro?", said a grinning Shivani.
Proteeti got out of her haze with a jerk, and said, "Shivani
Di?"
"Who were you staring at?", asked Shivani, innocently.
"Di!", said Proteeti. "Why is everyone doing this to me?"
"It's very simple, Pro", said Shreya.
On Proteeti's questioning look, Shreya turned to Janaki, who
turned to Lola. This went on till Srutha was the last person. Everyone blinked
at Srutha.
"You all decided to make me answer? Okay. That's because Pro,
mashoor teri ishq ki kahaani", said Srutha, giggling at the colour of Proteeti's
face.
Shri Krishna smiled. This was going to be even more fun now!
