One doubt about the infused water... I've heard about this and have tried it couple of times.. The cucumber lemon mint ginger infused water. The person who told me this had advised me to keep it overnight and then drink the next day mrng. The issue i had was the water was turning bitter which makes it unbearable to drink for me.. Have anyone of u tried this? Am i doing something wrong?

and what other infused water is good for weight loss mainly?

I do the same and keep it overnight but the water was never unbearable. It's rather strong with the mint and ginger. Depends on the quantity also. I add one medium sized cucumber, 1 inch ginger, 1 lemon and about 20-25 mint leaves in two litres of water. Is this your recipe as well?

Not sure if this counts as a hair pack and it's kinda gross, but you can use an egg and dahi (curd) hair pack for 30 mins or less! Basically, what you do is mix a raw egg with some curd. You can add honey and lemon if you wanna be fancy LOL but my parents usually don't. Then you put the mixture on your dry hair -- my family usually uses a brush.

Then you keep the mixture on your hair -- I only ever do 10-15 mins because I hate the feeling of stuff on my hair and then you wash it!

I've used the pack a few times and its' definitely helped my hair be softer and healthier! Plus it's super easy and quick to do!

Beware though if you've got a sensitive nose. It can get kinda smelly, especially in hotter weather.

Eggs on hair is awesome...it also adds volume to hair. But entire place becomes smelly. I use egg with henna and curd.
Has anybody used black grape for hair? How is it?

Yeah seconding this. My sister does this and her eyelashes have actually become thicker.

Never used raw milk but definitely used pasteurized milk on my face for a while and it definitely cleared up my skin and made it softer. My cousin did the same and I think it lightened her face.

I used it by applying it on my face, letting it sit for a min or two and then washing it off (using it for more time is better but I just don't have the patience). It's actually really nice to use but also such a waste of a resource. That's why I stopped.

yeah but be careful with dry shampoo/ baby powder. Using too much of it can clog your hair follicles. Moderation is key. Try using apple cider vinegar to help with the oiliness. Also, as sophie said, washing your hair everyday also makes it oiler. Try cutting back on the washing. eventually your hair should adjust, as happens with the no-poo method.

These are some pretty well known hacks/ tips but whatever:

- baby oil is amazing for removing eye makeup, especially if you're low on makeup remover! I sometimes even use it to correct my eyeliner when I have time! but remember to wash it off after using it to take off makeup.

- if using pencils for eyeliners, try to heat up your pencil a bit for a much smoother application! I like to blow on my pencil with hot hair or warm it in my hands -- always makes it go on smoother and leads to less mistakes!

- when filling in brows, use very light, quick strokes. Don't use a heavy hand or else it will look overdrawn and bad. What I like to do when in a hurry, is just apply some brow pencil (or even eyeliner pencil if you're in a real hurry) on a q-tip and then lightly use the q-tip to darken the lighter spots in my eyebrows!

- when using liquid eyeliner, start in from the middle and then go back and begin from your tear ducts. lessens mistakes.

- always do the bottom lashes mascara first and then upper lashes.

- to make yourself appear a little more awake, you can apply a tiny dab of white eyeshadow around your tear ducts. A really tiny amount that looks natural enough LOL.

- for concealer or under the eye, make sure its a triangle and then blend. It's more natural looking.

- use the tissue paper trick when wearing lipstick!

- never use raw lemon/ baking soda on your face! they're horrible for your skin!

- sunscreen is your best friend. never leave it behind, not even on cloudy days!

^^ Good tips! Ya the milk is a waste but everyone raves about it & you only need a little so it's fine. Should work.

Lemon is horrid for the skin, do you use serums? What's your beauty routine?

Another good tip I was given by my Mum was that One mustn't use only almond oil in the hair, it should be a'mond + another oil.

Hey MEB 😳 Wanted to seek some oil knowledge 😆

I was wondering, why shouldn't one use coco oil in winter? And combine almond oil w/something else? I think you are right about that as I noticed that in India, coconut oil does wonders for my hair, but where I live the climate is cold, it makes my hair brittle and wild 😕

Any other good oils? Or specifics anyone knows regarding each oil? The main thing I need is something that prevents hair loss and provides thick volume and a healthy look 😎

I recently started using my parent's Patanjali oil and that's been great! I'd recommend that to all!
