Ramnath Malhotra NOT SO COOL

Ok so Ramnath's character does have grey shades. I had quite a hint from the beginning and my fear became true. Ramnath is probably one of those men who get blinded by their ego. And he doubted his wife thinking that she might have an affair with her boss. Oops I liked him a lot as Shravan's father but now all the respect I had for him has vanished all on a sudden. The current track is going to be a really lengthy one and Shravan and his dad will probably show off their male ego and attitude and boast about being superior to women. And honestly as a girl, I hate this kind of men. So I am considering of skipping a lot of episodes. A month maybe I don't know...

Hate him. The most boring charecter in this show :)

lol me too! i am honestly done with this show for atleast this week. i have MCPS to the core

Yup true! I am done with the show I will skip few episodes if this happens and sharvan attitude of not listening doesn't change. He doesn't listen to sumo at all. He keeps yelling and this won't help even if they fight he will jao shairi karlo he won't even realize that he loved her. I am sure cvs needs to run love story aswell else these 3 will just keep fighting like cats and dogs,, bcz now if suman try to clear the misunderstanding he won't listen and get mad at him already said that if she interfere we done with our friendship wouldn't love it to see how suman ignores him and at the same time solve and bring out the truth. Bcz if they both have ego then this drama is done

I'm not sure how the track will go but from today's episode- all I got was misunderstandings, lack of communication, lack of trust, their own insecurities were responsible for the downfall of their relationship. Not working, household depending on his wife for finances made Ramnath frustrated and insecure. Not able to support family or wife earning more than husband are few things that man's ego can't take even in real world. You all will realize this as you grow in this world. Nirmala didn't make it easier for him either. As soon she entered the room (scene where Shravan is sick), she reiterated that she is the sole bread winner and Ramnath was useless. As a mother if someone tells me my kid is sick, no matter how tired I am, I would run to my child to see if he/she is ok. Don't hate Ramnath yet, see how things go down.

and to justify Shravan's character today. You have always seen him proper but you have not seen the hidden layers underneath. This is the Shravan no one has seen, who has so much pain hidden under that big smile or proper behaviour. No human is perfect, everyone has bad or good days. And when pain surfaces, everyone has different way of reacting. Shravan's reactions is by yelling at people so they leave him alone, so that no one can see the pain he has well hidden. Crazy but that's normal. Today's episode was important to see the layers of Shravan's character, who is not perfect, who has so much sorrow, pain hidden just because he promised his dad.

Completely agree. He could not stand Shravan's mother being the sole breadwinner and announcing this fact. He always made it seem in front of Shravan as if he was the one suffering while he was emotionally hurting her by telling her she did not care about her own son. She was doing all that she was for the sake of Shravan and his future. Even the scene where Shravan and Ramnath see Shravan's mom with that Arora guy, was probably planned by Ramnath (what i mean is the moment when he showed Shravan, not the interaction). He must have conveniently not let Shravan see the truth in fear of the fact that Shravan might not respect him as a father if he saw how insecure he was about his relationships.

guys u know what this reminds me of - astitva - it was a tabu, namrita shirodkar movie where the girl (namrita) supposed her mom-in law and walks out of the house with her as her bf and his dad were complete MCPs (even though the lady - Tabu was initially wrong but they tried to punish her for a mistake years down the road). thats how that movie ended - i just hope this show is leveraged by a positive change in shravan,
