Yeah same here..Even I was not able to understand the dialogues..especially when the movie started and cricket match was going on..I wasn't understanding anything...I kept on reading the subtitles..

I have been quite irregular anyway and was away for 2 weeks on vacation.

The usual comments on everything under the Sun:

1. SairAT seems to be much disliked among people in my generation, who think that it is a film by a shrewd, manipulative director who has cleverly draped a simple story of young love in layers of caste conflict, honour killing etc to avoid being called exploitative and to 'elevate' it as a commentary on the ills of the society etc - the kind that is loved by the artsy folks at film festivals. He has succeeded.

2. Absolutely hated the Sachin-Lata roast on AIB. It is completely unfunny, unintelligent & crass. I am not a big fan of either Sachin or Lata but the whole thing is a bad joke gone very wrong. The 'khaLL-phaTAk' people (of MNS) have threatened to teach Tanmay Bhatt a lesson. Will he?

3. I hope the days of MPS are numbered, thanks to 'Duheri' on Star Pravah. I wonder what this serial by Ravi Jadhav will do to his equation with ZM. He has been producing superhit movies for ZM and I have no doubt 'Duheri' will kill MPS. Who wants to see Vaibhav Mangle in drag interacting with people with double-digit IQs who can't recognize him from a distance of inches, when you can follow a more interesting storyline featuring a couple of attractive real ladies and a menacing villain? I am afraid the leading lady Maithili is destined to be a high-society escort service girl in the evening and a normal girl during the day. There have been several similar stories in plays and movies about poor girls leading a dual existence and one of them is ALWAYS that favourite character of all filmmakers - a golden-hearted prostitute! Even so, this will be much better than MPS.

4. I'd have preferred an IPL final between Gujarat & Hyderabad because I don't like rich teams buying titles hiring superstars (like RCB, MI & KKR). This has been Kohli's year and I haven't seen anyone as consistently good for such a long time as him. Sachin never even came close. This season also proved how N Srini had twisted the rules to favour his CSK to ensure his team stayed intact and made it to the final four. After his team was broken up, Dhoni sank right to the bottom. It again goes to prove that Dhoni has been more lucky than good during his extended run with the Indian team. He has never been a very good captain but has merely led very good teams.

5. The height difference bet Shiv and 'Gory' aka Gauri on KDP is Amitabh - Jayaish. Gauri is small enough to fit in Shiv's pocket! It was nice to see all three ladies of KDP dressed nicely for a change on CHYD.

6. Hope the monsoon starts soon! We need it badly!

@SW, agree with you on all points except partly on point 3 for which I agree on the MPS sinking part but am appalled that they are showing an " adult crime thriller" at 8.30 pm slot. It would have been more appropriate for the 10.30pm or 11 pm slot IMO.

Janhavi...Basanti...Vidya...Kimi...beautiful reviewes on Sairat...👏...

in fact...i watched the movie in the first week of its release itself...😉...after kimi told that its a good movie ...even heard from many friends ki its a must watch...

bt...din't dare to put my reviews as i saw many negative reviews and discussions were pouring in...

and i personally donot like unnecessary arguments when movie shd be seen with other perspective too...like...screen play...dialogues...music...though the story looks ordinary...KUDOS to the director(who has got accolades to his previous movies too)...the way he handled the love story...and other aspects too added to its success...when...ppl r liking in such a massive way...there shd be something in a movie...otherwise it won't create record breaking collections...

IMO...Sairat is⭐️...

NJ...heard aruond 70 crores which is great achievement for Marathi movie industry.👏👍🏼..which none of the marathi movies done so far😊( don't know about KKG...which too has done great buisiness)...

all movies can't be made for class(so called intellectuals)...shd be done for masses too..😆

IMO...Sairat is⭐️...

Veena I dnt think expressing an honest opinion whether is positve one or negative one should matter..u liked the movie u enjoyed the movie...thats it..u pay for it..the bottomline is u loved it and ur paisa vasool...

Its just abt liking or disliking...there are 90 percent people who like food in seafood rest like Gajalee and there are 10 percent like me who simply feel its overated..same goes for movies...

But now even i feel expressing an honest opinion of disliking a movie liked by almost everyone is like a crime or people have tht attitude..ab bol kya bol raha tha tu...

Henceforth no more discussions on Sairat from my end.

Thts a wonderful thing indeed..Infact I would love if it crosses the 100 Cr mark...like i said at the end of the day its business too...and every business must make profits...emotionsne economy chalat nahi

Obviously movies should be made for all...entertainment is the ultimate motive.

And yes I will definitely call myself among classes but not an intellectual for sure.

their previous one too was controversial...don't understand...getting fame...money..success...at the cost of others...stooping so low..😡...

there shd be line drawn...when stand up comedians do shows...

theres no sensitivity left in youngsters...no respect...they do anything in the name of freedom of expression...which is saddest and disgusting thing..😔

Looks like Star Pravah spends heavily on its promotional activities for its pilot launches compared to its rival competitor Z Marathi..the serial having Aishwarya Narkar was promoted by putting up hoardings at prime locations in posh localities in Mumbai...

The new serial Duheri is being promoted by putting up LED hoardings..

I wonder if the payscale of Star Pravah actors could be more than ZM actors?? 😕
