Is Karan Johar In Financial Distress?

It looks like the days of fun and games are over for Bollywood's resident Peter Pan Karan Johar. If sources are to be believed Karan Johar's Dharma Productions  is going through a financial low.

Says a source in the know, "It's nothing really serious.But yes, there is  financial crisis. This is why Karan is pulling out of uncertain projects like Shuddhi which Karan Malhotra was going to direct for him, and the super-hero film that Karan was going to produce with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead and Ayan Mukerjee as director."

The source says that many of Karan Johar's recent Dharma Productions have under-performed. "This is why, if you see, not too many new projects are being announced byDharma. A lot depends on the boxoffice performance of Karan's own directorial ventureAe Dil Hai Mushkil which is scheduled for a year-end release," says the source.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Ranbir Kapoor who badly needs a hit. Is he in a  position to bail out Karan Johar's Dharma Productions from the financial distress?

Now days even if a movie flopped , producer makes money by selling it to the studio before the release , via satellite rights , music rights etc ... If anyone loose money then it's studios and distributors 

May be he does not wanna pay tax so doing this nautanki 

As far as shuddhi and super hero films are concerned - they were destined for this fate and rightly so
