Holi Special

Everyone had gathered at the Agnihotri Mansion for celebrating Holi, the festival of colours. It was a great atmosphere, full of joy and enthusiasm. Everyone was wearing white and was ready to get coloured in the mood of the day. While searching for Aastha, Shlok came towards the back side of their home. He was looking around for her when suddenly a bucketful of water was poured on him. He was drenched in a second. He turned around to see Aastha laughing. Seeing Shlok's naughty smile, Aastha could sense danger and she began running. Shlok followed her... "Kahan bhaagogi meri jaan!!" he said as he caught her in his arms.
"Chhodo Shlok... kya kar rahe ho! Koi dekh lega" said Aastha trying to free herself from Shlok's grip.
"Aise kaise chhod doon... Badla lena abhi baaki hai!!" he said with an evil smile.
Just then, Niranjan and Avdhoot poured a bucket of water on both of them. Both were surprised. Anjali, Kalindi, Varad and Sojal laughed at the scene. Kavya jumped at her place clapping and laughing, seeing the fun.
"Wahan itne saare mehmaan aa rahe hain, aur tum dono yahan peechhe romance mein lage hue ho?!" teased Sojal.
"Arey kum se kum kuchh der toh ek doosre se door raha karo..." added Varad.
Everyone laughed. Aastha and Shlok were embarrassed. Aastha ran away blushing.

It was very difficult for Shlok and Aastha to stay away from each other. Especially for Shlok. He couldn't keep his eyes off Aastha's wet figure. He just wanted to take Aastha in his arms and love her passionately. Aastha and Sojal were busy welcoming the guests as they arrived. There was nothing formal... All the guests were friends and family. It was a get-together. The festival was just an excuse.
Shlok was intently watching Aastha. Rahul saw it and he indicated that to Varad and Pooja. The three went near Shlok. Shlok was busy looking at Aastha.
"Kya hot lag rahi hai na..." said Rahul purposely as Varad and Pooja tried to control their laughter.
"Haan yaar..." said Shlok still lost in Aastha, "Jee karta hai usay kas ke pakdu aur apni taraf kheechu..." said Shlok in a dreamy tone.
"Aur?" asked Pooja.
Varad, Rahul and Pooja burst into laughter. Now Shlok realised what he was saying. Embarrassed, he walked away immediately.

Shruti arrived with her fiance, Akash. Aastha hugged Shruti. Akash too gave Aastha a light hug. Shlok clinched his fists seeing that. "Shaadi ke pehele bhi bohot chipakte thay dono... Aur ab bhi?!" he thought.
Shlok went to Aastha angrily. He was jealous more than angry. He held Aastha's hand and pulled her aside. Aastha was confused.
"Kya hua Shlok?" she asked.
Shlok left her hand. He sighed and said, "Kuchh nahi..."
But Aastha understood the reason. "Ooohh..." she said dramatically, "Kuchh jalne ki smell aa rahi hai, nahi?"
"Tum uss se door raho, samjhi! Kya zaroorat hai itna chipakne ki..." said Shlok complaining like a kid.
Aastha was enjoying this very much. "Uss se doori bardaasht nahi hoti... Kya karun..." she said sarcastically, "Aakhir khaas dost hai mera" she winked.
Aastha couldn't control her laughter looking at Shlok's reaction.
"Bohot hansi aa rahi hai na?!" said an angry Shlok. "Ab dekhta hoon kitna hansti ho!!"
Aastha didn't understand anything. She watched Shlok as he walked towards Aditi. "Hey gorgeous!" he said to Aditi knowing that Aastha was watching him. Aditi was surprised at the compliment. "Hey handsome!" she said in reply. Aastha's jaw dropped as she watched this.
Seeing Aastha's reaction, Shlok continued "Kya lag rahi ho inn bheege kapdon mein!"
Aditi laughed. She was thoroughly enjoying the conversation. "Achha?" she asked.
Aastha was green with envy. Shlok knew that very well. Afterall, that's what his purpose was!
Aastha pulled Shlok back. "Buss bhi karo Shlok" she said. "Sorry na... main phir nahi karungi waise" Aastha was seriously not liking Shlok talking to Aditi in that way.
But Shlok ignored Aastha saying, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!" and he went back to Aditi.
"Yeh bheege julfein... yeh rangeela badan... Haaye" said Shlok holding Aditi's hand.
Now Aastha was felt really bad. She left the place feeling hurt.
"Kya tum bhi Shlok... Dekho Aastha bura maan gayi.." said Aditi. "Itna bhi mut sataao usay, Shlok... Tum nahi jaante kitna bura lagta hai. Ladki ka dil tum kya jaano... Jaao ab manaao usay!"
Shlok took it seriously and went behind Aastha. She went to their room and stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom shutting the door behind her. She looked at her image as her eyes watered. She heard Shlok come into the room. "Aastha, kahan ho tum?" Seeing that Aastha wasn't in the room, he knocked on the door of the bathroom. "Aastha? Kya tum andar ho?" he asked.
"Jaao na tum, Aditi ke saath maze karo!" replied Aastha.
"Oh ho!" said Shlok, "Tumhare alawa kisi aur ke saath maza nahi aata, kya karun?"
"Abhi toh bohot maza aa raha tha tumhein neeche!" said Aastha complaining.
"Darwaza kholo Aastha... I am sorry..." said Shlok.
"Nahi kholungi... Jaao tum!"
Shlok tried to open the door of the bathroom. Aastha had not locked it from inside. Shlok could easily open it. Aastha tried to push Shlok away but Shlok's grip was firm enough. He saw Aastha's wet eyes.
"Oh ho! Kya tum bhi, Aastha" he said wiping her eyes. "Mazak bhi nahi samajhti?"
"Main keh rahi thi na tum se ki buss karo... Sorry bhi kaha... Lekin tum ruk hi nahi rahe thay... Kya kya kahe jaa rahe thay uss Aditi se..." said Aastha as her eyes watered again.
"Kitni pyaari hai meri Aastha!" he said wiping her eyes again. "Sorry, zyada ho gaya shayad..." Aastha was still upset. Shlok continued, "Pata hai? Woh sab actually maine tumhein dekh ke kaha... Tumhara geela badan, yeh geeli julfein... Nasha ho gaya mujhe tumhein dekh ke... Rok nahi paa raha tha apne aap ko... Ab bhi rok nahi paa raha" he said coming closer to Aastha. Aastha opened her mouth to say something but Shlok placed his palm on her mouth. He kept coming closer till only a couple of inches were between them. Aastha could feel his breath on her face. Her chest heaving against his body. Shlok held her tight and looking intently at her, whispered...
"Tumhari zalim adaa mein mujhe rang de...
Khushiyon ki bauchhaar mein mujhe rang de...
Holi ke rang cheez hi kya hain...
Tumhaare aseem pyaar mein mujhe rang de..."
