Firstly, sorry for making you wait long.. I got busy with work and didn't got time to write.
So here posting next part.. Hope you will like it.. 😉
PART - 4
For a second all she could see was hazel brown
eyes and slow spreading of his irises in them as he held her in his arms, his
eyes boring into hers.
Her hands felt warmth of his body holding his
biceps and it made her feel warm. On the other hand Rudra felt..how soft and
fragile she was, holding her.. He could smell the sweet fragrance of her..which
was captivating and he involuntarily bended just a fraction closer to her..smelling
her fragrance but his phone rang and saved him. He immediately jerked his head
straight hearing the phone ring, both of them snatched their hands away from
each other and together moved a step back from each other getting self
conscious.
Rudra frowned.. bothered at his fraction of
loss of control on himself.. thought "what he was even thinking?!... or...
Actually was not thinking anything at all at that moment!!." Shaking his head a
little he pushed such thoughts away and walked to side table to answer the
call.
Being the soldier means your work can call you
at any hour of a day or night. At 9pm.. his duty calls him. Telling Aman he was
coming, he kept the phone on table and turned to see her fidgeting with kurta
sleeves..he told her to fold them and also pajama ends..if she doesn't want to
fall and break her head.
Paro tried doing it..pulling the sleeves up
loosely. Rudra looking at what she was doing, went up to her, pulled her arm
and folded the sleeves of kurta for her, telling to do like this. Paro looked
at him in surprise thinking "why he was doing all of this??"
She was not able to figure him out.. As the
very first time when they met.. he had saved her from the goons, next she got
to know he was BSD officer but she had known people in BSD are cruel and kill
people mindlessly.. still.. he created a little doubt in her that maybe all BSD
men are not the same as he saved her but next she saw him shooting her
groom..killing him and whole baraat and that time she knew for sure she was
wrong about him..he was the same like any BSD officer.. a Brutal killer.. he
captured her, asked her harshly many times to confess what she knew about the
"terrorist activity", "arms smuggling".. there were words like these which she
heard first time in her life.. It was yesterday only when he fooled her to
think that she could escape and he made her run in hot desert till she
fainted.. then why now show concern..? why help me?..
she couldn't understand him.. one day he
becomes "Protector" and other day "Beast".
Rudra changing into his jeans, white t-shirt
with brown leather jacket left to his office on his bike.
...At BSD office...
Aman told Rudra about the location of place
which their captive confessed infront of Rudra. During interrogation Rudra had
shot him on his thigh.. he had accurately shot the bullet that it didn't hit
the bone or any muscle but just puncher the flesh and brushed past him.. Rudra
wanted to place fear of death in him and it worked...as the man confessed he knows
where about of Tejawat's men but he didn't know if Tejawat was also there. He
was just a poor man who was paid to keep an eye on Hawelli and what BSD
officers were doing there. He had talked to one of Tejawat's man two days back
and that time they were hiding in Sikandarabad which was five to six hours away
from Chandangarh.
They discussed the plan and decided six member
team will go.. Rudra, Aman with four soldiers, it was crucial to capture
Tejawat's men alive than to kill them. So for that few soldiers were required
in this mission.
They decided to leave tomorrow afternoon so
that they reach Sikandarabad by evening.
Rudra checking the time in his watch..it was
past midnight.. ordered Aman to rest as there is lot to do tomorrow. When Rudra
was about to leave..
Aman asked "Sir..what about Parvati?"
Rudra gave him questioning look.. so Aman
asked "Where will you keep her?"
They clearly know this mission/plan to capture
Tejawat's men will take at least two, three days or more..they can't be sure as
it depend on the mission. Parvati is assumed to be dead by all, so it was
necessary to keep her away from anybodies eye..specially now when they know
Tejawat has spy's moving around
Chandargarh and they are also keeping eye on BSD. Aman gave him the idea that
Hawelli can be safe for her as it was also Rudra's home..!
He didn't answered Aman's question and left office
room saying "Leave this upon me.."
...Rudra reaching his BSD tent...
The first thing he see... Paro sleeping in one
corner of the tent...On the floor...covered with shawl given by Aman, she was
sleeping with curled up legs as it was cold now at night. He for some reason
got angry and felt uneasy seeing her like this..
He marched inside the tent straight to her.. he
slowly bended down and sat on his one leg beside her..observing her.. thinking
in anger "why she is sleeping like this on floor?! When there is a bed here.."
Pressing his lips together he raised his hand
and brought it close to her knees to pick her up but he stopped and slowly
closed his hand feeling unsure and self conscious, he looked at her face which
looked peaceful in sleep but suddenly she shivered slightly with cold and he
just... like a reflex reaction.. He put his arm under her knees and other around
her shoulders and brought her body close to his chest, she feeling warmth from
his body unknowingly turned her face towards him, putting her head in crook of
his neck and he forget to breathe..
Slowly he rises with Paro in his arms... and
walked to the bed, bending and carefully placing her on bed..not to disturb her
sleep. But while placing her on bed his face and lips accidently brushed on her
forehead... and he immediately backed off from the bed after placing her, as
if he felt some jolt when their skin came in contact..
He just gazed at her for few seconds.. pressed
his lips and thought "Whenever she is in close proximity he for some hell of a
reason.. lose his senses or what..!", "Maybe
it is because of exhaustion that he is losing his mind". He took a deep breath as
if trying to get in control , moved to the chair and placed his feet up on the stool..
he involuntarily looked at her sleeping form and Aman's question pounded his
mind..
Gazing at her face he decided what to do next...then
putting his head back and closing his eyes..he called it a night.
...Next day in morning...
Paro woke up stretching her arms, feeling good
as she finally had a good night sleep after many days.. she felt
comfortable...actually too comfortable to be on floor.. Something was odd!!
Than
next second she felt soft cushion and mattress under her and instantly she
opened her eyes, jumped to sit on bed in surprise. Realizing she was actually
on bed and not floor...still covered in shawl.. holding the shawl close to her
chest, she wondered who shifted her to bed?..Was it HIM?!...
"But when he returned at night?".. feeling
conscious that he carried her to bed when she was in sleep. "Was she in such a
deep sleep that she didn't feel anything?!" Maybe..yes!...as in past couple of days she
hardly slept.
She continued to think about him.. that.. "She
should be angry at him that he carried her to bed.. no... His bed... when she was
asleep..couldn't he just wake her up than carrying her in his arms..!"
She doesn't know why it was so bothering her
as it was not the first time he carried her.. But yes, like every other time..
she was not in conscious when he carried her.
In a while Rudra came back in same clothes
from yesterday.. and said to her in hurry that they are going from here.. Paro
asked "where?", his eyes met hers for a second and replied "I don't have time
for your questions" and pulled a bag from his cupboard holding it in one hand
than walked towards her and held her arm in his other hand and walked out. She
kept asking "Where are you taking me?".
He pushed his bag in back of the jeep and then
pulled her to sit in back of the jeep, when she sat there.. he brought some
black cloth and turned her back to him to tie it around her eyes... Paro tried to
move away from him so he hissed in anger..telling her if she don't listen to
him then he will use force and that might hurt her..so it is better for her to
listen to him.. she asked "But why are you blind folding me?", Rudra in
annoyance.. held her arm then tied the cloth on her eyes.. answered her "So
that you don't run away.."
After reaching the destination.. he without
opening Paro's blind fold, held her wrist and brought her down from the jeep..
he walked toward the house holding her wrist..
At the door of house he stopped...stared at it
for few second as few dark past memories flashed infront of his eyes, this was
the house where he and Dilsher spend few years after that woman abandoned them.
Dilsher had brought him here.. they had left the Hawelli because it got
unbearable for them to stay there, hearing painful taunts of Kakisa and
neighbors each day...This was the house where he spent his childhood waiting for
HER to come.. feeling the pain and anger his grip on Paro's hand got tight and
Paro even blind folded could feel change in his emotions.. could feel his anger
radiating from his hold on her wrist and it made little afraid.
Rudra gulped down his pain controlling his
emotions and looked at Paro and felt little relax as he was here solely for his
mission and purpose. He wouldn't let his past effect his work, he brought Paro
here for her safety as keeping her in Hawelli would not be safe, where Kakisa
and his family would cause hindrance in his work and life making his life more
difficult than it was already. This was safe place as nobody knows about this
house not even his kakisa's family.
Entering the house Rudra stayed for few mins.
as he had look after some work before going on mission but before leaving he
told her that she will stay in this house, showed guest room to Paro which she
can use. Before she could ask any question he left.
Leaving her alone in the house... she wandered around...
there were two bed rooms and one guest room, kitchen, hall where all the
furniture was covered with cloth, Paro pulled the cover from sofa to unwrap it..
it was antique teak wood sofa. She walked in kitchen which was vacant, seeing
dust covered kitchen shelf.. sensing this house might be closed for years,
walking behind the kitchen there she found an iron gate and opening it she
stepped out in small backyard which more or less looked like junkyard, in
corner she saw stairs which most probably were for the terrace.
...After half an hour...
Paro heard sound of main door opening.. expecting
it might be HIM...
She continued to remove the cover from the bed
in the guest room but then she heard a loud voice calling "RUDRA..."
And the person pushed the main door so hard
that it banged on the side wall loudly.. Paro trembled hearing it and the cover
slipped from her fingers.
Thinking "who can be here?..calling HIM?.."
The man shouted again and this time more
loudly... "..RUDRAA..."
Paro winced at it.. fidgeting with hands..
thinking "What to do?", "Who was he?".
She slowly started to walk towards her room
door and waited...she could hear even from closed door that the man has walked
inside the main door.
Taking deep breath she opened her rooms door
slightly and peeked out and saw the man's back...
But hearing the sound of door opening...
The man turned to her and Paro eyes got wide...
