TOI: MTV's 'GOT' redefining what it means to be an adarsh ladki

MTV's new TV show 'Girls On Top' is set to do something different.



It will redefine what it means to be an 'adarsh ladki' (ideal girl) by showcasing the 'young Indian girl' in various avatars " from a goddess who wreaks havoc to a hard-working super girl, from a diva to a mischievous dream girl, from a bookish romantic to a crazy disc jockey. It is a story of three girls " Barkha Singh as Gia, a page 3 journalist, Ayesha Adlakha as DJ Rave and Saloni Chopra as Isha, a show producer. The dramedy analyzes various aspects of being an independent young woman in urban India through the lens of friendship, relationships, career and aspirations.
