I tend to think he made a new email id to talk to Kangana so his affair crap doesn't get mixed up in his official email account.
She probably ended up getting the real id from someone else later on after the break-up and sent those thousand emails probably full of complaints and anger. He never responded so he can say she is imagining some nonexistent relationship and going crazy because she's mentally disturbed. He can also show that he never responded to her from that account.
Kangana is kind of cuckoo and most of the industry thinks she's got a screw loose so these kind of allegations would be easy to foist onto her.
