IKRS Friday 11th March 2016 ep 186 My Take ~ red riding hood Vs the big bad wolf

The world is full of nasty bullies. The way they operate is by targeting the vulnerable. Bullies prey on the fear factor of an individual .The way to tackle bullies is by confronting them up front.Today's episode is about how a bullied victim confront s a bully and stands up to him.

It's just like the good old days for Raja, who flirts over the phone with Dhani . He complains like an old lover , there was a time when she knew him by his whistle even from a distance, but how times have changed, today she's completely forgotten him, he complains. Raja comes under the category of such men who have no qualms of showing lust towards another's wife. It would make no differences to his small time advances, even if he knew that Suman was a married woman again, as he is one who cast an evil eye upon his own brother wife .Honour means nothing to him . But to Dhani it means not just her own honour now, but her husband's honour. She is not going to encourage him to flirt with her like he used too! So beating around the bush she wants not and wants him to state his business. He does, he wants to meet with her to revive or rather sort out lots that is unfinished between them, and what's more he s sure that she will turn up to meet him. Viplav stands in the door way sternly, and Raja wonders how much he heard? Viplav studies his face and laid back wants to know who his brother in law is planning to meet? Raja immoral that he is, fobs Viplav off , just a friend staying at the boys hostel. Viplav wants to know what news does he have , Raja replies some more stuff he found on Suman that he has for him.

Dhani repulsed by Raja , his whistle, his presence in Banaras, his leering lust, decides to set alight the present he sent her, box and content !in the hope that the Pandora's box of her past goes up in the fumes of fire! The tongues of fire ignite the blaze of fighting her fervour of righteousness with his inferno of evil. Yes once for all she will confront him and tell him in no uncertain words that she is not prepared to put up with the injustices ,for times have changed. Dhani now brims with the fire of her husband's support and fully charged she leaves the house. Rajlaxmi notes Dhani's form and asks where was she heading ? Dhani informs, she was going to sort some pending business . Dulari is anxious to see her daughter leave and dreads that Dhani may be going to meet Raja..

Dhani arrives at the meeting point. The bully is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly Raja appears and bend to touch her feet .. but Dhani shuffles her feet away as the greeting and the action is far from respect but an act of defiling her by laying his hands on her. He addresses her as bhabi ji a sinful curse coming out of his mouth. He hovers around her like a greedy jackal! ready to consume her with his lustful gazes and insane references to the past .He asks her did she like the present? the reminder of her being a murderer? was she shocked? like she used to ? he mocks her ,telling her he waits ,he's dying for her answer. This was the moment Dhani waited for ,where she would put her foot down. Calmly she replies sometimes the answer is best given in action rather than in words , she spews at him, now had she slapped him earlier , things wouldn't have gone so far! and yes she is not frightened of them anymore! won't allow them to take advantage of her naivety any more! they don't frighten her any more Dhani grinds her teeth! Raja points his finger threateningly in her face and Dhani too retaliates with her finger in his face! like two crossed swords one of virtue one of vice! ready to smite the other, Fury clashes against fury! Might against right! Dhani warns him, if he tries to touch her she'll gather people and then he can imagine what people will do to him! he lowers his pointed finger and Dhani too stops..dhani made her point! Dulari watches from the sides and is wonderstruck at the way her little girl combats the devil and over powers him ..beaten Raja turns and flees..for now

Viplav pours over information regarding Suman and reckons he has enough evidence against her. now all he needs is for police to round her up, and then he'll see her in court.. he predicts ,for such a serious crime she can get life imprisonment .Such irony Viplav prepares to unknowingly nail his wife down.

Suman/Dhani is found free at the mandir site. She certainly is free from her all fear. All it took was some motivating and inspirational talk from Viplav, and she charged to battle and face her foe. But a panicked Dulari run's over to her daughter.. she disapproves of Dhani's fiery run in with Raja. She fears they are awful people capable of anything !how can Dhani forget the atrocities she suffered at their hands , but Dhani looks fearless there is no regret in her face! Dulari cries , does she want this marriage of hers to be ruined as well like the last one?and she pulls her daughter away from the spot, but Dhani looks over her shoulder ,all ready to give Raja hell should he come near her again!.References to Dhani's violent past!

Beaten ,ego bruised, mamma's boy Raja wih one sweep of his hand brings all the jewellery boxesdown to the floor! so much for the wealth! The smack he received at the hands of Dhani, turns him blue with rage ,she slapped him in public! he should have killed her! like a child he moans to his mother, who says he needs to get his act together! before people find out the rumpus he creates and their truth is exposed. When the right time comes, she herself will drag Suman out and beat the living day lights out of her .But he laughs hysterically at his mother that Suman is Viplav's lover and they are going to get married. His mother says , now she gets the picture! that before they came in , that witch already set herself here, she says this is going to be fun! But he only needs to concentrate on the wedding and before this black cat crosses his path! As his mother she'll get him married to Shalu earlier than planned. Sulakshna assures her son not to worry just do as she asks him to do and leave the rest to her. Sulakshana mirrors Kanak's dangerous violent loathing for Dhani!

When the coincidentals , prompts .. possible disparities..Back at the ashram Dhani assures her mother that she told Viplav everything about her past but hopes that his Raja is not the one getting married to Shalu. But Dulari reminds her that she saw Shalu's would be so, it can't be this one.. besides there can be others with the same name as Raja. But Dhani worries they might know each other as, Viplav too was whistling the same tune as Raj..but Dhani says due to Shalu's wedding to spare Viplav grief, she hasn't told him that Raja has come to banaras..dhani's phone rings its Viplav , tells her shalu's wedding is brought forward in two days time and he is over the moon, Dulari says , its best to avoid Raja, they'll leave Banrnas and go for pilgrimage for two days. Dhani agrees, that for Vilpav's sake she will accompany her mother.

Raja since he didn't get his way with Dhani again, plays with a noose all obsessed with getting Suman hanged!

Its night time , Viplav sneaks into his wife's room. She is asleep, and seeing she's asleep he gives her a kiss on the cheek.. she wakes up! questions why he is in her room He brings forward the garland of flowers, hidden behind his back! first puts it round her neck, then stretches it, puts it around his neck as well! He says he is counting days to when he can put the garland around her neck before all..the garland is the bond that both already have, of being husband and wife..but before the world it has yet to be confirmed! Having the one garland, holding both their necks, is symbolical of two humans joined together by love and becoming one..Dhani tells him they are goin to Mahtura for special prayers. He's disappointed she can't be with him, last time she nearly got caught. He cheers up they can have face time on their phones he sets it on dhani's phone too . Both confess how difficult it will be to stay apart from each other for two days, Dhani asks him for a promise that he will stand by her in all kinds of situation.. he assures her he will. Vipav tells her all good is happening in their lives.. first their marriage, then his office and now his very first case! he asks her to pray that all goes well with the case..and she , prays he wins this case.. cruel irony...

Looks likes its going down the age old beaten track where the lead protagonist is the last one to know.. is it due to an inherent weakness in his own character? or is it the course of destiny? that creates a gap in his knowledge.hamlet53 12.3.16

Dear Hammie

Thank you for responding to all of us every day. It is nice of you to take the time. I thoroughly enjoyed your take. It is extremely well written, and I concur with your conclusion --I too wish that it was not going down the ghisa-pita way of the main person knowing the truth only at the end. However, I still hold out some hope that we can be surprised.

What struck me about this episode is the nastiness of Mother Awasthi (Sulakshana is her name; ironically her name means the one whose presence is ever auspicious), who appeared like one demented and, if I understood correctly, and hinted that they would use Shalu as a pawn to get Suman punished after the wedding.

Viplav and Dhani are both going to have a big shock --Dhani when she finds out that Raja is marrying Shalu, and Viplav when discovers Dhani's identity. But will the marriage take place? This is the question on everyone's mind. Bit busy today, but I did wish to visit and let you know that I have read your take. Your daily thread is doing a fabulous service to the forum-wasis.
Sleep well and cheers!

Great title n excellent take Hammie..!! What a brilliant way of writing ..like two crossed swords one of virtue one of vice! ready to smite the other, Fury clashes against fury! Might against right! 👏
Loved your special note on bullied victim and how you incorporated aptly for a current scenario..
I can't imagine Vip being fooled once again nor entrapped by fake family..Yesterday's episode, Dhani's slap was a highlight one and way she gave him back without leaving any chance to him..Real strength of love and truth gonna to win at the end..I loved garland scene much, it had all beautiful flavors of purity , innocence and cute lovey-dovey moments , silent exchange of unspoken emotions..I am just hoping for the best episodes..I can't bear watching emotional Vip fooled all around by fake atmosphere..!! I just wish cv's surprising us..! 😊

Hammie you took me back to my childhood with your clever title... Yes, I do see RED when I think of the Wolf Raja and his lustful intentions of Dhaani...

And I was ecstatic to see Dhaania fter the words of courage from Viplav had the guts to slap the bully and tell him to go to hell with his threats.

It will be sad to see Viplav when he discovers he is getting ready to sue his own wife
for murder, here again I find it dumb that Viplav does not research the case and finds out in person , who this Suman is and why and how, where this alleged murder was committed.

You do not accept a case without digging into the facts and understanding that you can prove what you are setting out to prove and can defend it properly.

With all this Raja crap we do get some lovely moments with our lovebirds enjoying each other and basking in their special secret love between two happily married couple.

For how long will this peaceful time last between the lovebirds only the CV's know,
because if they go for the old formula of MU and separating them , then there goes their promise to always love and trust each other no matter what.

Thanks Hammie, as always you and your take cheers me up and keeps me wanting more..

Take care, have a fun week-end with friends and family...
