Athea is a kingdom divided, and tension between the two halves has been rising. While both the Argonians and the Callisto disagree on almost everything there is one universal truth they both know; magic is rare.
When a young Callisto servant, with no magical upbringing, Caeli, begins to have prophetic dreams, she is told she has been born with the magic of the stars. The first to be born with magic in years, Caeli has no idea what to do, or how to control her powers. When the royal family catches wind of this rare and powerful girl, they become determined to add this gem to their wealth, and Caeli must go on the run.
With a prince, noble, and an assassin for company, Caeli is unsure if she will make it out alive and escape the royal families, or let alone make it out with her heart intact.
