And we were not least bit surprised to find out that the it was SRK-Kajol who outnumbered Salman -Katrina to take the Numero Uno position with over Rs 1000 crores in their joint kitty!

Rs 1000 crore! Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol
The King of Romance and his buddy, the very talented Kajol are indeed the king and queen in B-town. Our trade expert revealed that this golden pair made the highest revenue. According to Akshaye, "They are way beyond Rs 1000 crore and are the highest grossing couple. All their films have done exceptionally well from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum to Kuch Kuch Hota to Dilwale." No wonder then everyone was so thrilled when Rohit Shetty reunited them after many many years.
Rs 400 crore! Salman Khan - Katrina Kaif
He's the king of Rs 100 crore club and it seems his pairing with ex girlfriend Katrina Kaif has always made money banks of Bollywood happy. According to Rathi Salman and Kat are one of the most pair in B Town. "Their last film together was Ek Tha Tiger and it almost touched 200 crore. Before that they came with Yuvraaj which did not do that well at the box office, however Partner was a smash hit and even now if they come together they would bring Tsunami at the box office. Rathi says, "Their first film Bachna Ae Haseeno was a hit at the box office and after that Yeh Jawaani Deewani created a storm. They have till now generated around Rs 230 crore at the box office." Clearly Tamasha debacle will not stop filmmakers from signing this hit pair.
Rs 130 crore! Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt
Karan Johar's proteges Varun and Alia look adorable together. The young actors debuted together in Student Of The Year and went on to in KJo's Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. It was also said that their successful pairing even earned them Shuddhi, which was eventually shelved due to other matters. However, we hear that the couple is all set to work together soon. And in such a short span Alia-Varun's these two movies have made Rs 130 crore at the BO.
