Naagin Written Update 16th January 2016

Saturday's episode begins with Yamini confronting Shivanya about the missing chain.  The chain which she herself had given her.  She accuses Shivanya of being in Guruma's vicinity and demands an answer.  Shivanya hesitates  Ritik confirms that they had gone to Guruma because Shivanya had been bitten by a snake and he took her there.  Yamini says then they did go to Guruma's cave.  Ritik denies and tells her that they did not enter the cave.  Guruma came out to them.  

Yamini tells Ritik that she found the chain in the same cave where Guruma had trapped the naagin that is after them and that Shivanya must have been there at the same time that the naagin was freed.

Yamini holds the chain and declares that she found the chain in the cave.  Shivanya states that the chain is not hers.  Yamini asks how it can be.  She gave the chain and locket to her.  Even Ritik says that the chain is hers.  Shivanya says that the chain is not hers.  She produces the exact chain.  Flashback shows Shivanya closing her hand.  When it opens, the chain and locket is there.

Yamini is stunned she holds both chains and wonders who the owner of the other chain is.  Ankush declares that it must belong to the person who helped the naagin.  Yamini apologises to Shivanya.  Shivanya says no need. Even she would've thought the same.  Yamini frets about the naagin.

Ritik comes behind Shivanya and starts to romance her.  At the crucial point he sneezes making Shivanya laugh.  He apologises for his mother's behaviour and continues with the romance.  Shivanya gets a flash back of Sheesha reminding her of falling in love with a man.

Yamini and Kamya/Ananya are having a heated debate.  Yamini is accused of being too soft when it comes to her daughter in law.  They look at the chain and see that the family name is engraved on the back.  Kavya/Ananya says that it is the same chain she asked her to make and reasons that if that Is the fake chain then how come Shivanya have the original.  She accuses that even Shivanya could be the snake.  No one is safe.  They go to check Shivanya's chain.

Ankush arrives and taunts Kamya. The women want to check Shivanya but Ankush stops them.  Yamini has an idea.  Sheesha over hears them and sets off to get the necklace and save Shivanya.

Ritik leads Shivanya to the bed and covers her in a blanket.  He wants to join her but she refuses.  He plays on sympathy saying that he has chills too and he may die.  She stops him and asks him to close his eyes, picks up a balaclava from the dresses and puts it on him.  

Sheesha enters in naagin form and while Ritik is chasing Shivanya, she takes the necklace and leaves.

Guruma is called to the house and a puja is underway.  While everyone's eyes are closed Sheesha exchanges the necklaces.  Guruma finishes the prayer and holds the chain over fire.  The pendent blackens.  Guruma declares the chain to be false and Yamini's suspicions to be false.  Upon hearing this Kamya/Ananya makes a hasty retreat.

A glass ornament breaks during Ritik and Shivanya's horseplay.  Shivanya cuts her finger and Ritik sucks the blood.  Shivanya quickly pulls away.  Ritik begins to feel unwell.  Shivanya puts him to bed and goes to get some medication.

Yamini meets Shivanya in the corridor and asks for forgiveness.  Shivanya brushes it aside and tells her that even she would think the same.  Anyone of them could be the naagin.  One has to have trust and faith.  Yamini blesses Shivanya and leaves.  Shivanya turns into Sheesha and taunts Yamini.  

The real Shivanya comes across Sheesha and asks what she is doing there.  Sheesha tells her of the danger which was about to erupt and taunts her for falling in love with Ritik and forgetting the aim of her being there.  She gives her a book and asks her to read it.

Shivanya makes kadha for Ritik but he refuses to drink initially until Shivanya has some.  She does so even if it does cause her harm.  He drinks some also.

Ankush and Suir enter a cave where they are holding someone captive.  They ask about the whereabouts of the naag mani but the man does not tell him.  They beat him.

Shivanya reads the book she was given and narrates the history of the naagin who fell in love with her target and how such love can only be doomed.  

Ritik arrives and hugs her. He talks about their sleeping arrangements and hugs her again.  Sheesha's words run through her mind and she pushes him off the bed. Surprised but persistent he soothes her and hugs her again.  Eventually the pull of love is strong and she hugs him too.

Tanvi interrupts them and earns a scolding from Ritik.  Shivanya sends him to talk to her. 

Tanvi tells him that his father has found a husband for her and she wants to know what he thinks.  The fathers arrive and assure Tanvi of the match and Ritik assures her that if the boy's father is a decent man then the son must be too.  Tanvi agrees and they hug.  Shivanya agrees to help and give guarantee.  She sees Suri and glares.

A storm begins whiling up.  The priest senses imminent danger and prays to Lord Bolenath.  He sits, chanting mantras and throwing leaves and dust into the fire.  Sheeshs arrives.  He warns her of the danger to all snakes and mentions the word mongoose.  He tells Sheesha to stay with Shivanya.

A new entry is shown.  He complains about everything.  The heat, dust, car breaking down and thirst.  His assistant gives him water but he refuses to drink, asking instead for the mineral water which he has brought a supply of.  He is afraid of catching an infection.  He sanitises his hands, gets in the car and is spooked by a lizard.  The assistant deals with it.

Tanvi gets ready.  Ritik and Shivanya teases her about Kabir's facial features.  Tanvi gets upset.  Shivanya assures her that Kabir is fine.  They were pulling her leg.

Kabir arrives at the house and is introduced to everyone.  Tanvi 'so engagement is to be that evening.  Shivanya gives Suri enough time for the rituals to take place and then she will do away with him.

Waiting staff are being enrolled.  Sheesha lures away a hapless waitress, poisons her and takes her image.  She takes her place among the staff for the upcoming engagement.

Pre cap.  Suri is in the club.  Sheesha tampers with his drink and engineers an altercation where he loses his ring.  Naagin is ready to attack him.
