It was evening, taani was getting ready when Rey entered the room, and was rooted on his place as his gaze fall over her, she was dressed in an elegant black evening dress, looking beautiful that he finds difficult to look away from him. His eyes were fixed on her as he started taking slow steps toward her.
"How am i looking? Over toh nahi hua na?" Taani turned to him and asked him, looking at him with hopeful eyes. But her brows knitted together seeing him lost somewhere. He came and stood before her, leaving mere space between them which made her slight nervous at his close proximity.
"You are looking perfect. Beautiful & breath taking." Rey breathed, staring down at her admiringly which made her lowered her eye lashes in shyness. Her hair were falling down on her face, blocking his view, he lifted his hand and tucked the strands on her hair behind her ear.
"Rey-" She stuttered, making him smirk at her. He slide his arm around her petite figure and pulled soft body into him, she lifted her eye lashes and her innocence filled gaze met his darker ones, filled with brewing desires for her. Taani closed her eyes tightly feeling his fingers caressing her cheekbone. His close proximity was introducing her to new world where she found dawning herself into his passion, leaving tingling sensation within her.
"Innocent." He thought to himself, staring down at her angelic face. Taani smiled shyly, with her eyes closed she hugged him tightly, a sigh escaped her lips, finding solace in his arms. She knew, he want her, she does too but little scared to voice it out.
"We will get late for the party-" She whispered in barely audible tone, but he heard her and smiled. Rey felt blessed when he gazed down at her, The trust and affection her eyes showed made him feel special.
"Lets go." Taani nodded, Rey wrapped his arm around her waist as they exit the room.

Rey pulled her by his side, tightening his grip around her waist as they entered the party hall. Mr. & Mrs. Mehra greeted them,
"I must say, Reyaansh, You have got a beautiful wife." Mrs. Mehra praised, looking at taani who smiled shyly while Rey thanked mrs. mehra with smile. Thy moved inside, met other people.
They were standing together, enjoying their drinks when someone came there which made Rey clenched his fist in anger.
"Hello, Reyaansh." Sarah, daughter of Mr. Mehra, stand before him.
"Hello, Sarah." Rey greeted her back, disinterestedly. From past one year, Sarah had been trying too hard to win him, but Reyaansh singhania never paid any heed to her which made her more obsessive about him, sarah mehra loves to challenges and Rey was the toughest one, whom she wants to win.
"Reyaansh, Who is she?" Sarah asked, pointing at taani while staring at her from head to toe, examining her with curious eyes.
"Let me guess, your cousin?" Sarah guessed, taani stare at the girl with wide eyes.
"What the f**k! She is not my cousin, nor ever will be." Rey snapped at her, angrily.
"Then?"
"The beautiful girl standing here, is my wife. Mrs. Taani Reyaansh Singhania." Rey introduced his wife to sarah, wrapping his arm around taani's waist, he pulled her into him.
"And taani, she is sarah mehra." Rey silently laughed as sarah turned pale, he knew she must be shocked to see him married and he hoped, now she will stop stalking him.
"Hello, Sarah." Taani gave a small smile to her but sarah stomped her foot and left from there, leaving a silently laughing Rey & confused taani behind.
"What happened, Rey? Why she left?" Taani asked her husband, confusingly.
"Nothing, Wifey." Rey whispered, her breath hitched as he gave a small peck on her cheek. Rey chuckled at her reaction.
"You are very cute, you know-" Rey whispered, but she was too lost in the moment to hear. She couldn't believe he had actually kissed her, that too in public.
The rest of the evening went by, with both of them enjoying each other's company.
