CID Written Update: Newspaper Ka Raaz -3rd January, 2015

Newspaper Ka Raaz: 3^rd Janurary, 2016

The episode begins with someone recording ACP sir saying that there is no pardon for what he has done and his punishment is death. Then a gun goes off.

One Day Before:

A frustrated man puts the newspaper down talking of crimes and stuff and his wife complains that he worries about everything but him. She tells him to sit back since he has retired. After sometime, Shradhha gets a call from a friend who offers condolences to her husband's death. She gets angry and cuts the call. A similar call comes and she gets angry and cuts the call telling her husband was fine. They open the newspaper to find his obituary.

Some yards away a man laughs about this and talks about Ramesh's punishment for his deeds.

In the house, the couple are scolding the newspaper company manager. He says that he'd not have put the obituary in the paper, if his nephew had not shown him the proof of Ramesh's death certificate. Ramesh tells that his wife is his only family. The man tells Ramesh that he'd announce the mistake and apologize for the same in the next day's paper. After the man leaves, the servant maid Chandar asks for money but he doesn't give him. At one point, he is about to slap him but Shraddha intervenes and sends Chandar inside. Ramesh goes his study in the outhouse.

Its night time and Chandar awaits someone thinking that if not today, then impossible. Someone with a hood comes to him and Chandar tells him that all the cameras have been deactivated without suspicion and no one will know what is to happen in the house. The hooded man hands over a packet, which when Chandar opened contained a gun.

Shraddha sits down to read a book when she notices its dinner time. She wonders what her husband might be doing in his study even now and goes to check on him. She sees Chandar running away as if he'd committed a crime. She proceed's towards her husband's study and finds the room dark. She switches it on to find Ramesh on the table. Assuming him to be asleep she pulls him away from the table only to find him shot in the head and dead.

Jayawanti says it could be suicide. Abhijeet tells that ACP sir knew Ramesh personally because he was an activist and also a strong person in mind. Sachin notices two shoe prints on the floor but Shraddha says that Ramesh never liked anyone to come to his study. Abhijeet sir finds a video recording in which Ramesh says his deeds deserve no pardon and he deserves death and tells that no one else is responsible for his death. Shraddha says that few days ago, Ramesh had an argument with three people on the road. He'd slapped them for driving the wrong way and they'd in turn broken the car glass. They had handed him to the police. She also tells about the fight with Chandar and tells them that she saw him running from the outhouse. Abhijeet sir asks Shraddha to check the money and jewels. Inside the house, all of Shraddha's jewels and money are stolen and she says the keys always stay with Ramesh. Sachin notices the same shoe print on the room floor. Jayawanti finds Ramesh's will which read that after his death all his property would go to Shraddha. Abhijeet doubts her but she says she married Ramesh out of true love and not for money.

In the youngsters' house, Rocky and Milan tell the CID team that Tina was with them at the movie the previous night and shows them the ticket. Daya sir notices mud on Rocky's shoes and asks him to remove it and give it to the team. He tries to argue but finally obeys.

In the forensic lab, Salunkhe sir tells that Ramesh was murdered and demonstrates it by saying that the pattern of gunpowder on Tarika's hand was different from that on Ramesh's hand. He also tells that the shoes don't match with any print they got from the crime scene. Salunkhe sir tells that apart from Ramesh's fingerprint, one more person's fingerprint had been found in the gun.

Chandar is going in an auto and he tells someone on the phone that he is unfit to do anything. He tells the driver to go fast to the railway station. Chandar picks up his gun and threatens the driver, who turns out to be Freddy sir in disguise.

In the bureau, Chandar tells that he only robbed the house and didn't kill Ramesh. The flashback shows Cahndar entering the outhouse with the gun. He goes close to Ramesh but finds him already dead. He takes the keys and as he is about to leave, the lights go off and a masked man rushes outside and Chandar goes behind him. After that Chander tells that he robbed the house and left the place. Chandar also tells that the killer must be the guy who had been lurking outside the house.

In the newspaper office, the owner is shocked. Sachin sir brings in the photo of the man he got from the CCTV footage. The man shows the register to Daya sir. He dials the number but the number isn't in existence. He asks for the death certificate and it turns out to be fake. Daya sir tells that only Ranga can fake such stuff cleanly.

In Ranga's shop, Ranga claims to have left all the illegal work. Daya sir and Sachin sir search the place. Daya sir finds another room where many fake passports and stuff are hidden. Ranga tells that the girl promised to give him 3 times the money and he did it out of greed. He tells that the girl was about 5.2 feet and something like a feather stuck out of her hair. It was Tina.

In Tina's house, the CID team shows her the death certificate and Daya sir tells that it's time for all of them to go to jail. Tina asks them to arrest only her and that the other two had no hand in this. Daya sir tells that Rocky can't be arrested and gestures towards Jayawanti who stood beside Rocky's corpse.

In the bureau Tina confesses everything. They had put the obituary in the paper and the idea of revenge was Milan's and Rocky's. She tried to stop them but Rocky was her boyfriend and so he included her in this. The flashback shows Rocky and Tina entering the outhouse and knocking the door. He threatens Ramesh and they do the video recording. He pulls the trigger and the bullet goes off. Both are shocked as Milan had given Rocky the gun telling that it was loaded with fake bullets. Tina tells that Milan had started to threaten them and they were about to surrender to CID but before they could do so, Rocky was killed. Tina says that Milan wanted to avenge his father's death. Tina tells that Milan's father Shantanu was sentenced to death because of Ramesh. ACP sir recalls that 20 years ago, Ramesh had taken his help to catch Shantanu who killed people in such a way that it looked like suicide. He asks Sachin to track Milan's number.

In the bureau, Sachin informs ACP sir that Milan's number was switched off since yesterday. Freddy sir enters shocked and shows ACP sir his own obituary.Sachin sir gets a call that informed him of Milan's location. The others try to prevent ACP sir from going but ACP sir says that if they feared threats, people would lose trust on them.

ACP sir comes to a godown and finds Tina kidnapped by Milan. With the gun in her head, Tina apologizes to the ACP and asks him to tell the same thing that they asked Ramesh to say. ACP sir obliges. 

Present time:

Tina lets out an evil laughter and tells that she is Shantanu's daughter and Milan was her boyfriend. She tells that she was the one who changed the bullets, and she was the one who moistened the lawn in Ramesh's garden. ACP sir tells that her dad deserved the penalty for what he did. Tina says she killed Rocky because he was about to confess everything to the CID team. ACP sir tells Milan that Tina might do the same thing to him if she wants. Tina confirms what ACP sir said and pulls the trigger on Milan. Milan gets up and points the gun at Tina. Daya sir catches him. The others emerge and Sachin sir tells that everything is recorded. The team tells that they already knew that Shantanu had only one daughter, Tina. Tina apologizes for the mistake. ACP sir tells that she had killed two innocent people and delivers the phansi dialogue.
