He messaged her from time to time on the way to the airport and asked her to cheer up.
Ishita went to her clinic to freshen her mind and got engrossed in her work.
Then not much time had gone by,she received a call from home.
T-Ishita puttar,come home soon...it's urgent.

She rushed home and when she entered the hall,the TV was on flashing the news.
"Flight carrying 68 passengers from Delhi bound to Kolkata crashes"
All on board reported dead.
Ishita froze,her eyes couldn't believe what was shown.
She immediately went to her room,called Mihir.
I-Mihir,which flight was Raman in?
He had also seen the news and was in tears.In between he managed to say,
M-Bhabhi,bhai was...
And he couldn't complete...
The phone slipped out of her hand,she couldn't believe what had just happened.Her mind became blank and tears started flowing from her eyes.She picked up her and tried calling Raman if in case he picked up and told her that he had missed his flight.
She hoped for some miracle that would calm her disturbed mind.
I-Raman please come back...please...don't be on that flight.I knew something was wrong and you should have listened to me.
Thankfully the kids were not home yet.
She had locked herself inside her room the moment she came to know this and didn't come out.
The family members were worried thinking how she would handle this.

She wouldn't answer any calls of the family.

Romi immediately brought the key and they opened it.
When they opened,the sight they saw was the least expected.Ishita,the the strong,independent and cheerful woman was reduced to a pale woman with her eyes swollen due to her continously crying.
Simmi and Toshiji immediately rushed to her while Romi helped them.
T-Na puttar,don't cry...please...you have to control yourself.How will Raman feel seeing you like this.
I-Maa,How will I live now...my life,my reason to live is all gone...

The 3 ladies came out of the room,Ishita came out on the insistence of her MIL and SIL.
She was not at all interested in talking to anyone.
She was being comforted by Amma and Simmi.

Ishita wasn't listening to all this and had her head snuggled into her amma...

Ishita cried more on hearing his name.

Ishita in between her sobs looked up and what she saw made her think if it was a dream or reality.
Her crying stopped and she stared blankly at him,her face devoid of any emotion.
She suddenly felt dizzy and was about to fall when she felt his strong arms around her,protecting her.
Ap - Beta,you can answer and talk to all of us later.First of all take care of your wife.My daughter needs you more than any of us.
He took her to their room and gently made her rest on the bed...

He went and closed the door.
He then came and sat down next to her.
He gently carresed her hair and then that was it.The last straw of control broke.
She snuggled upto him and started crying,crying her out,the last few hours had been full of turmoil for her.His going,the news was too much for her to bear.
He let her cry,all the while soothing her by patting her back and calming her down.
Finally she spoke out in between her sobs.
I-I had told you not go,but you didn't listen to me.Do you have even a fraction of an idea what has happened to me in the past few hours,I have already died thousand deaths thinking about you.My life literally got sucked out of me.If you were all right,why couldn't you call or inform someone.Why?
Her eyes were full of mixed emotions,the feeling of happiness of him being safe,anger for not informing anyone,the feeling of safety and being protected from the world.
R-Bas Ishita...I am here only look...and I am perfectly fine.Please stop crying.
I couldn't call anyone because my phone's battery died,my car was here only and I could come earlier because the driver was not picking up the call.

I-I had told not to go today,see the result...
R-My dear,it was just a coincidence.
I-Coincidence or whatever.You have to promise you will not go anywhere until I feel it's safe.

I-Kiddish or not,I don't care.You have no idea how this few hours have been.Had you been in my place when you would have got news of my death...you would have known.

I-See even thinking about this is making you feel like this then think about my condition.I have got such a beautiful life to live because of you.Adi,Ruhi,mummyji,papaji,Romi,Simmi di and most importantly you,my life.My reason to live was not there.How would I have felt.
R-Ishita,I know...I am sorry for my outburst now but please don't think like this again.I know how hard it must have been for you.I should have informed you.
I-Its ok now,the past cannot be changed.We emerged stronger and realised the feeling and need of the other.
