Hi everybody! Before going to the topic under discussion I just wanted to say that, I'm new to this forum but hv been watching the show on and off for the past few days and I must say I'm truly impressed by Ekta this time! A lovely mature story, and that too with loads of mystery? What more can I ask for! 😃
At first I thought IK and MS would be such an odd combination and mind you, I do like both of them and think both are actors par excellence... But when I heard about the pairing, I was left wondering like many others thinking how these two talented actors would fair as a romantic pair... But I must say, Ekta or whoever is in-charge of the casting dept, surely do know their work... I mean look at these two? I now can't imagine anyone else playing the roles of Ishaan and Preet! Iqbal and Mona r just perfect together and their chemistry just sizzles onscreen! ⭐️
Well now coming to the header, I just wanted to write something about the complicated character that Ishaan Hooda alias Rizwan Khan is, with respect to the previous episode where we got to see a possessive and Jealous side of this mysterious character. So here's my humble attempt to decode his psyche during that particular moment...

Rizwan as he truly is at heart has never known love, well at least of the romantic kind. According to his own words he has no apna' on the either side of the border. His entire birth family had been destroyed by some terrorists and he himself became one to avenge their death. And then he met Preet... She might call him by the name Ishaan but whom she met and got acquainted to, was him, Rizwan not Ishaan. She had agreed to marry the person who he truly was and not just because he had a name which he had borrowed... And that made her the only true family which he really has in this whole wide world. He was the person who had filled her forehead with the holy vermillion and tied the thread of eternal love and trust - the mangalsutra around her neck... She was his wife and that was irrefutable. She might call herself Mrs.Ishaan Hooda but he knows that is because she knows him by that name... If his name was some Tom Dick or harry, she would still call herself his Mrs... He trusts her love for him. He knew even his daughter could be claimed by someone else but not his Preet... no one but him has rights over her.
But then comes a nobody out of nowhere and starts claiming to know his wife better than him! And what's worse was her acknowledging that yes the guy actually knew her better! He had heard in passing about her ex-fiance , but had always dismissed it because she never seemed interested to talk about her past or him, so it was an unopened chapter in their life... But changed the moment Shergill out of nowhere popped up into their lives and opened that chapter which now seems more like a can of worms! He kept on recollecting one anecdote after another about the epic romance her ex-fiance had for her and she kept on acknowledging those facts?! He saw red!
He couldn't believe that his wife, HIS WIFE of five years still missed her old fianc! He had never claimed his rights on her but he knew she loved him, but now when his position was threatened by a ghost of her past, he didn't know how to deal with it... If the guy was alive now, he knew he could fight any duel to prove his love for her was superior but how could one fight a ghost of memories...?
He knew Preet thought that he too was burdened with the baggage of the past, but how on earth could he tell her that no one before had ever claimed his heart and no one ever will in future, except her... She literally was his whole world... He knows he has a mission to complete but whenever he looks at her, the truth was everything else seemed less important, less urgent, less worthy...
How would he ever make her understand that no matter what name he went by, he was and would always be hers and only hers...

AN:So this is something which was running in my head when I saw a totally different side of Ishaan that day,so thought to share it with you guys... Do tell me your views regarding this... 😳
