Hi everyone, firstly I apologize for my late post😳. I had some outside work so I just caught the episode now and I can begin to say that this was another great episode. We have Ram who undergoes the various tasks, with a perennial smile on his face. He enjoys a challenge, the feeling of victory, the exhilaration... but at the same time he is the one who offers a hand to his opponents, emulated by his brothers who follow his every step, after the fight. Be it the archery or even being the sole student to lift the heavy bow, he does every task assigned with his brow furrowed in concentration and with a steady mind. He thinks twice before taking even a step.

He is the follower of Dharma to the letter. We get a glimpse of this when he holds his brother's hand to allow them to offer their salutations first. He encourages his brothers in whatever they do.. we can see the veil of disappointment on his face, when they fail to strike the target with the bow. Regarding this scene, I admit it was strange for them to miss the target when we know them to be experienced archers, but according to me, they are still in the learning stage hence maybe the case.

The symbolism was so vivid in the scene when he offers prayer to the Mother Earth before beginning the task and victory is his. Dashrath's happiness knows no bounds and he acknowledges all his 4 sons. Both the Guru and his disciple know that it is Ram's extraordinary thirst for knowledge and his willingness to learn along with his courage that made him achieve his goal.

When the scene shifts to Mithila where we see the happy go lucky daughters of King Janak who we see are brought up with a lot of love and care. Their exuberant steps and shining faces as they run around freely is an ode to Janak's upbringing. They run with the wind across their faces, as free as the butterflies and birds soaring in the sky above. They come to Sita who is building mud figurines, unaware of the very mud coating her skin. She who is born from the earth feels complete when feeling the soft mud across her palms. 'Yeh mele nahin hai, mitti hai' When she is closest to Mother Earth, she is home.

Janak, the Maharishi speaks wise words which are to be noted. 'Why does one wish to conquer nature, bring a balance ?' Who are we to do this ?' Nature changes forms, according to its will reminding us of its enormity in front of us. Surrender to nature, be a part of it, these are his learnings which is why he is against performing yagyas to change its course. From this, we can see how progressive Janak's thinking is and how he is much more than just a king.

We then come across Rishi Sulbha who wishes to meet with King Janak. She questions him about his satisfaction of having daughters alone and not worrying about the absence of a son to carry on his legacy. The wise king replies that nothing in this world is his, neither the throne nor his surroundings. Sita comes there running, with her harried mother behind her heels. He understands Sita's affinity for the Earth and enjoys the smell of the mud, immediately pleasing his daughter. Sulbha notices the divinity in the child and asks him to sow the seed of knowledge in her from a young age itself and he begins to do so.

Back to the ashram, Dashrath envelops his sons in a hug, finally at peace with himself and with the world. A lovely episode overall and an intriguing precap.
What do you think everyone ? Kindly like the post if you agree and share your views😳

Ur late buddy
And I saw the Ep today earlier😳😆
Ok ur forgiven😆😆

I liked today's episode
But comparatively a bit less than last three days
But still it was very good
Can't expect every episode to be in top notch😉

I loved the way Ram fought with a smile
And like u mentioned they way he helped his opponent
One think that I felt different than u is
I didn't think he was worshiping earth
He was trying to predict the direction of the wind
That's why he aimed the arrow away from the target

And they way he stopped his brothers from running to their father
As the Guru has not yet given the nod
But he didn't fail to offer his respect
And his delighted face conveyed
that his heart has already ran to this father
and is in his embrace now
And the way they went running to see their father
later was a delight to watch

Now to Mithila
Sita's sisters playing Mothers running
It's always the same in every household😆😆
And the way sita is being associated with the mud
It was a great watch

My respect for Janak increases day by day
His wise words, gentle action and selfless love
It just warms u

The lady who played Subala was a perfect fit
Overall a good episode

I personally enjoyed the episode. I'm loving the flow and the way they are presenting the story. Yes it wasn't top notch but still a great episode.

Aaah you may be right in that aspect, Mano. He was predicting the direction of the wind, that is plausible. I think I interpreted it wrongly😳 His smile was gentle and just a sense of calmness radiating from him.

Oh yes, he too was overjoyed to see his father just like his brothers but rules matter to him a lot which is why he waits to salute his Guru and his father and then they proceed to go.

Haha so true😆 I felt it was a contrast from Dashrath's household though as I sense more of a freedom in Sita and her sisters' upbringing. Freedom in expressing thoughts and emotions as compared to the lifestyle of Ram and his brothers. Just an observation 😳

Same here. His words are so meaningful and thought provoking and he is rightly called as the Maharishi.

P.S. Was it Subala or Sulabha ? The audio in the online videos weren't clear 😛

yes the contract is visible.
Just that Ram and his brother aren't living in palace
So right now no restrictions
Example is them jumping from the falls😉😆
So they are free in Gurukul
But Dashrath would be too worried to let them free😆😆

Incredible take yet again. Shweta, wonderful banner.😃

My favorite part of the episode today was Ram and his brothers and the archery test. Ram composed ,and taking all the circumstances into account, before hitting the target was great to watch. Dashrath's chest did swell up with pride ,didn't it?

The makers have done a wonderful job in casting. The actress playing Sulbha was spot on too. Has been an awesome week so far. Looking forward to more.

As we can't miss the episode same way can't miss your take on the episode.

Coming to the episode it was nice. It had a steady flow.
The best part of yesterday' s episode was the archery test. Didn't they show a small hug? Hope they continue from that scene.
Another flawless scene was Raja Janak's reply.
The little Sita is very beautiful and expressive too.

Another nice take from you Abhi...the episode seemed a bit slower than the earlier ones but nevertheless very engaging.
My fav part was when Ram takes the dust to check the direction of the wind ...*WOW*...is what I said in my mind for his sharp brain
Another absolutely fantastic scene was the conversation between Raja Janak and Sulbha 👏

@Abhinaya: Once again nice review.👏
Yes, I likes the dialogues in the show so far, but yesterday its expression more than dialogues. Few touching moments which I felt connected.

1. Guru vashisht didnt mention the order in which their have to take the test. So it means Ram who gave the opportunity for the brothers to showcase their talent first. If any of his siblings have won the test that would have given the immense happiness for Ram.
2. The keen observation of Ram from the mistakes of his brothers. 👏 I just compared with Russians and Americans. It was Russian who tried everything first from sending satellite to reaching moon but Americans who waited and learned from the mistakes of Russian and succeeded in the mission.
3. For me the expression in Ram face after winning is not pride, its joy of happiness after completing the task, self-satisfaction.
4. In previous episode we saw the emotion of father, yesterday I saw the Guru in father. Yes, I wondered why Dhasarath always said he worried about Ram because of his curse. I feel its Guru-shishya bond. Usually as we all know though the teacher treats all students as equal in class (mostly 😉), his/her attention turns to the one who actually seems to be more interested in the subject. I saw dhasarth having the same feeling as the guru vashisht, once Ram found the way of success.
5. OMG, I lack words to describe sita.. I feel the child artist is born to be projected as sita.
6. Once again Janak words outstanding.👏
I don't know about sulbha. Can I be enlighten?

On lighter note: Its time for me from SP to switch from gita gyan to sita gyan😊

@Abhinaya yesterday I understood one thing. Sita is nature or daughter of nature. Janak says laws of nature should not be tampered with. Ram is that man who actually showed the world how change can be bought without tampering with nature. The way he hit the arrow was just superb. The symbolism too good not to miss.
Prakriti or nature walked with him in every step and Prakriti was part of him. He was a man blessed by nature and I would say most probably this show will show why Prakriti blessed him, why Prakriti walked with him, Why Prakriti even suffered for him. Why he is called Maryada Purushottam. Is it for respecting Prakriti or nature more than anything else.

Once again a very beautiful post. Yesterday's episode reflected about the upbringing between Dashrath's sons and Janak's daughters. They're carefree while Ram and his brothers are less carefree.

Liked the scene of the archery where Ram gives his siblings the chance to show their skills and hs gets the chance he observes every little thing and then aims and wins too.

Little Sita's association with the mud was significant too. And, Raja Janak's words where he says nothing belongs to him. These words are so true.
