CID: 24th October 2015: Jheel Mein Laash

We see kids playing near the lake and one boy dives in to get his ball and he sees a corpse. He panics and comes out. We then see the CID team asking the boy where he had seen the corpse. He says he had seen the corpse right in the middle but he was too panicked to see if the condition of the corpse. Shreya and Nikhil dive inside and find the corpse. (How apparent it is that it has been set. Yaar seriously, can someone actually stand on the bed like that and they walk too.!OMG! BTW, Daya sir looking out-of -the-world handsome!) Once they bring out, they find that the man had been recently murdered. Shreya points out to the wound on his waist and says that he was probably injured and when he died, the killer had thrown him into the lake by tying something heavy around him. Daya sir wonders why no one noticed all this since doing so much would have taken much time and asks Shreya and Nikhil to look for any other object that may be involved. They find an autorickshaw and they make arrangements to get it out. Purvi wonders how an entire vehicle as this could be inside a lake. Daya sir rules out the possibility of an accident. Shreya finds the back tyre has been punctured. Daya sir asks Shreya and Nikhil to look for the auto-driver's corpse. Daya sir meanwhile finds the object used to puncture tyres. Shreya and Nikhil return, finding nothing.

In the forensic lab (I really wish these people get a proper outfit for T. She's a doctor and not a model! Phew!), Salunkhe sir and Tarika are performing tests and when the team arrives, the two tell them that the corpse was of a man named Raman Kalia, who had died 20 years ago when he was 20 years old. ACP is shocked as to how a 40 year old looking laash could be one of a 20 yr old who died 20 years ago and he comes to a conclusion that the man must not even have died 20 years ago.

One man is checking the auto , but finds nothing. But he says that the model was of 1999. Nikhil arrives just then and tells that the particular company that manufactured this auto stopped the same in the very next year. ACP sir asks them to find out how many of these models were sold and to whom.

In a bar, Pankaj identifies his khabri and Daya sir, finding drugs inside the man's pockets, takes him inside a room and sets up a fake beating drama. He then shows him Raman Kalia's photo and the man immediately understands what Daya sir wanted. Daya sir turns to go, but turns back and slaps him.

Shreya brings in the details about the number of 1999 model auto rickshaws. There were about 170 of them and the details of all but the two of them had been found. One being a Chentak Kumar and the other being a Shekar

Abhijeet knocks at Chintak's door and he answers positively to all the questions and agrees to show his autorickshaw. He asks the team why they want to see his rickshaw and Abhijeet sir tells him the gist. When they reach the shed, the auto is missing. They accuse him of the murder but he strongly denies and argues why he would us his own auto to kill someone. Asked about how many others knew about the place, he says his auto drivers knew since they'd come to park the autos after the work was over. Abhijeet sir asks Jayawanti to bring all the six auto drivers under him to the bureau.

In the forensic lab, Salunkhe sir finds that Raman Kalia's death has been caused by a bomb blast. Tarika wondered, what kind of a bomb was it that didn't destroy the whole human being. Salunkhe sir finds something

In the bureau, all the auto drivers deny having committed the murder. ACP sir lets them go but orders them to give their address and contact numbers and later asks Shreya to track the numbers to monitor each one's move.

In the forensic lab, Tarika shows them pieces of iron and a piece of Radium and Salunkhe sir tells them that the moment, the auto plunged inside, the bomb went off. Pankaj wonders why on earth would a man wear a watch on his waist rather than on his wrist.

In the bureau, Shreya finds one auto driver going towards the lake. ACP sir asks Daya to capture him along with the auto.

Near the lake, they find the auto but not the man. Daya sir hears a digging sound and soon they find one of the auto drivers digging out a bag of money. He tells that the parents of the girl he loved so much had demanded an amount of 10lakh. When still 5lakh was needed, he decided to loot RK. He tells that every other day, he had slowly repaired his owner Chintak's auto. Once done, he had erased all the numbers on it and silently took it out of the shed. The other day when he had dropped RK at his usual place, he had taken another route while returning- the route on which he had placed the object. The tyre gets punctured all of a sudden and the auto plunges deep into the lake. The auto driver pulls out his oxygen mask and swims out of the lake with the bag of money. He denies having caused the blast. He says that when he had been spying on RK, he had seen a man give him something and RK had tied it to his waist.

Purvi and Mayur find the khabri and he tells them that RK had worked for a man named JJ, whose face none had seen. RK had been a petty thief, murderer and human trafficker and he had been elevated to a more dangerous position by JJ. The khabri also tells that whoever had seen JJ, was dead the next day. He also tells that JJ must have killed him because he had found out that RK had double crossed him. Purvi turns to go, but slaps him for stealing money from a young girl and asks Mayur to return it.

Purvi informs Daya sir about RK. Daya sir tells Shreya to go with Mayur to the bureau and they go to the place where the driver used to take RK often. The place is empty but Daya sir finds drugs. While moving out, Daya sir hears someone breathing but moves out. The man who had been hiding climbs down and tries to run away but is confronted by the team. They remove his mask, and he turns out to be the bar manager. He sarcastically tells them that they'd all die soon. Minutes later, a gas is released and they all fall unconscious.

When they revive, they find themselves bound to an auto along with the auto driver. JJ signals and the auto is dropped into the lake via a crane. JJ roars in victory about accomplishing something that none has achieved- killing Daya sir. They get into the car, when the driver is shot in the chest. Daya sir, Purvi and Nik come out and after a fight, he lifts JJ's mask and JJ turns out to be Chintak.

Chintak tells that RK had been double crossing him and so he killed him. He tells that one fine day he had heard Arjun talking to his girlfriend about the money and his plan to loot and kill RK. So he had given RK a bomb, that resembled a watch- the one he tied to his waist the other night. Once Arjun was out of the lake, JJ had used the remote control to set the bomb off.

Daya sir delivers the phansi dialogue.
