Gayatri's mother consoles Govindseth as he cries over his daughter. She tries to reassure him that he will be the support system for Gayatri and asks him to go meet her. Gayatri meanwhile sits morose in her room as she recalls Rana's stinging words She comes to know that her father has come to meet her. Initially she is very happy but with her current mood, she doesn't wish to worry him hence decides not to meet so tells the servant to take care of him. On the way, she sees her father leaving without having anything and gets more upset. She decides to make the food for the day. Kokila comes to the kitchen and taunts her for being so shameful.
Rajmata hears everything. She berates Kokila for being shameful instead and for displaying such a bad behaviour and turns the tables on her.⭐️ She adds that Gayatri has every right to be here and asks Kokila to apologize which the latter reluctantly does so, crying and leaves. RM asks Gayatri to be stronger and fight for herself and asks her to get ready to meet the people. Kokila comes and tells everything to Kunwar Chachaji and they decide to do something to avenge this.
Gayatri meets the commonfolk. RM announces that every week, they will come to offer some kind of gift to the Queen as per tradition. Govindseth comes just then disguised under a shawl and tearfully apologizes saying that this is a father's words to his daughter and asks her to forgive him. He gives her the conch shell saying that this will help her in times of distress and leaves. Gayatri is about to console him but RM holds her hand asking her not to do so. Ranaji does some target shooting practice. Gayatri comes there. She stand in front of the target stand and the arrow barely misses her. Ranaji taunts her asking if she wishes to put a murderer tag on him to which she replies that his words had already wounded her yesterday so this would be nothing.
She tells him that he has to listen to her today⭐️ She asks him if he ever thought why RM brought the proposal only to her when there were lot of moneylenders who the palace owed money to and this was destiny that they had to be married especially RM coming to Govindseth. She adds that her only mistake was to love him and this was a mistake she is happy to do and adds that love's strength is more than the strength of his hatred. She promises that by Diwali, her love will win. Ranaji also promises in return that by Diwali, he would pay the debt back and free them from this marriage. Gayatri replies that being his wife, she would do her duties and would help him pay back the debt and on Diwali, they would light the lamps together. They stare at each other and she smirks. She instructs the servant to bring water and food for her and leaves. He looks at her in a speculative way.
