Hi everyone,
Well, unlike myself, my mother doesn't have the patience to sit through Ragini and her drama (Swasan ke khatir main jhel leti hoon), but today, my mum watched the entire episode. I think dheere dheere woh bhi Swasan ki deewani ban gayi. 😃
Here are some of my mother's reactions:
When Laksh stole the bike - "Bike chori karne ki kya zarurat hain? Uss aadmi ko bhol deta, toh shayad woh usse ghar tak chor deta."
When Sanskaar got up to tell DP the truth - "Yeh ladka kya kar raha hain? Maang toh bhar diya uss din, aaj bas phere lene hain."
At this point, I said, "But Mum, he doesn't want to marry Swara like this."
She replied with "Yes, but aadhi shaadi toh kar li, toh poori shaadi karne mein kya problem hain?"
It's official. My mother is now definitely a Swasan fan. 🥳
When Shomi was escaping from Dadi - "Dadi ko maar ek thappad, Shomi. Aah, dhakka de diya? Haan, yeh teek kiya. Aur dekho, kitno acchi hain Shomi...dhakka diya, toh woh bhi bed pe."
When Shomi decided she can walk to the wedding - "Dadi ko dhakka dekar apni dimag ko bhi dhakka de diya kya? Aise kaise jaa paogi?"
When Laksh finally arrived at the wedding - "Toh ab kuch bolta kyun nahin? Bhaag bhaag ke zubaan peeche bhool aaya kya? Ya phir apni bhai ki shaadi mein shaamil hone ke liye itna bhaaga?"
When the wedding was completed - "Sujata, Bengali Bahu mubarak ho. Usse kabhi naraaz mat karna, warna kahin woh tumhe macchi na kila de!"
Ahh guys, she had so may other things to say, but I can't remember them all. 😆 I'm just glad that my mother is a Swasan fan now. 😃 I wonder what she'll say if I said I want a husband like Sanskaar? 😉
