I don't know if anyone has watched the show dasstan of Pakistan it was also aired in zee zindagi
Daastan was a Muslim show this was based on the story of partition of India from Muslims point of view it was a beautiful love story when I first watched the promo of laajwanti daastan came to my mind
It would be great to see how they show love story of 1947

i guess it is similar since its base don that period and how women were kidnapped and what they went through.

i actually havent seen the dastan and the only reason is because i dont really like the actress sanam that much.

actually this show laajwanti is based on a short story by Rajinder Singh Bedi

Dastaan was based on novel too. I haven't seen dastaan so I cannot comment. Both r shot in partition let see how lajwanti shape up.

no no no plz!i don't want it to be like that. I did not watch the serial but I read its story n it was very sad 😭I don't want Lajwanti and Sunder to get separated like Bano and Hassan :(

agree with u bano n hassan have a drastic end I have watched it but the way lajjwanti is going now looks like its following dastans foot steps 😆
