I thought the review would've been done and dusted so far. Why this khamoshi, guys? So decided to do the honours myself.
- Why did the murderer have to place himself/herself at the scene of the crime before the murder was to take place? Do tell.😕
KOSTIN OF THE DAY-
Certainly an engaging episode, and quite wholesome in many aspects, though I would say that it lacked the brilliance of the seventh episode. But a lovely watch nevertheless.😊
CASE SUMMARY- Of five people travelling up in a lift in a hospital, four are murdered with a scalpel, and suspicion falls naturally on the fifth. But is there more than what meets the eye?
ASPECTS OF THE EPISODE-
-The episode had a good pace. They spent adequate time on interrogating the prime suspect, who is an inspector, and one of their own ( a fellow law enforcement professional).
-Raghav immediately gleaning the discrepancy about the number of people on the lift and the maximum capacity- nice. I saw it coming too😉
- Trisha and Raghav going to the hospital and marking out possible suspects- the dean, the matron, a fellow doctor and the owner of the hospital.
- The two journey by the lift and find that there must be someone "on" the lift and not "in" it- which means someone else is the killer. And Bikram also explores the top of the lift to see how it was done, which leads them to survey the CCTV footage- nice👏
- Loved Trisha and Raghav moments as usual- Raghav asking whether she'll go for a ride with him, the reference by Raghav as to how there shouldn't be a third accompanying them in the lift, Raghav commenting on what a lightweight she is, and Raghav playfully calling himself and Bikram as "Boy 1" and "Boy 2" after Trisha said, "well done boys"😆 These two are ❤️
- Girlpower alert!⭐️ Trisha is talked to snidely by the owner of the hospital (horrible dialogue delivery by that actor, BTW🥱), who says she'll sue the police for the damage done to her hospital's profits. Trisha coolly gives her a dressing down and points out that she's not concerned about the fact that people have been murdered, but she's all about the damage to her profits. Even suggested that she open a hotel if she's so bothered about "business". 😃
Aahana owned this scene, and it's so nice to see Trisha's fierceness on display. And Raghav wishing he'd been in that room to see her taking on the owner was 😆
- Raghav getting claustrophobic in the lift and getting glimpses of the past again- I love the continuity, folks. It seems to me that he is still traumatized by the incident he witnessed in his childhood. Poor guy!
-CCTV footage reveals information about the suspect, who is pursued by Rajbir and Bikram. I love how they gave each member something to do, and how everyone looked at Rajbir once there was a mention of a gym.😆
-I liked that team work again was the hallmark of the episode- the interrogation was conducted by Rajbir, Bikram and Gauri. Umm, I'd have preferred Rajbir and Bikram to do it by themselves, because Gauri's function is that of a tech specialist, IMO.😳 Loved the small team moment with Gauri not getting Raghav's joke and Rajbeer explaining that it was sarcasm😆
- Loved the chase scene- Rajbeer and Bikram pursuing the suspect who is a gymnast. Lovely athletic prowess on display, and good camera work. We have not really got many "fight" or "chase" scenes as such. Jason and Danish were looking so good in this scene!
-Also liked the theme of the episode- medical malpractice and the use of restricted drugs. Very pertinent, and it seemed to me that the writers had done their research.
NIGGLES with the epi-
-I knew the murderer the instant he/she made their appearance.😆 Still, it was nice to see how Raghav arrived at his conclusion.
- Not enough opportunity for Raghav to do his Holmesian observations, except for the lift weight and the fork position. I guess we can give it a pass, though.😃

SQUIRM ALERT-
I dunno why they have to blatantly promote products in the show, it upsets the mood and makes it very unnatural- the bit about Gauri talking about the anti-virus software with Raghav was 🥱. Please avoid it in the future😡 FYI, I am sticking with Kaspersky despite your relentless promotion😆
KOSTIN OF THE DAY-
Raghav teasing Trisha about her prospective groom was 😆 Poor guy, he seems to be bothered about it, though he's masking it nicely under the teasing. This is the second time he's said it.
So the kostin is- why is he not acting on his feelings, though he knows that his gal might soon get married?
RATING- 7.5/10

Raghav scouts a jail undercover as a convict to glean who killed a fake godman who'd been convicted of rape.
Sharad looking awesome as a Sardar😊 Hope they do justice to the theme, though.

I was thinking that we don't appreciate all the actors enough- each one of them is aptly cast, and doing full justice to their roles. SK in particular, rules😃 Aahana has a natural screen presence and looks smashing, and acts well! Danish and Jason are also good as Rajbeer and Bikram respectively. I initially didn't like Deepali as Gauri, but she too seems to have settled down and conveys Gauri's naivety nicely.
