Badi Rani Maa tells Gayatri that she has taken up a huge responsibility & she hopes that she'd be able to fulfill this this responsibility. Ranaji gets up to leave. A servant comes to give him Gayatri's letter. She tries to explain to him why she puked at dining table in the morning. He turns to look at her. She feels dizzy & is about to fall but Ranaji holds her. RaGa eyelock. Everyone gets scared as to what happened to Gayatri. Rajmata asks what happened to her. She says, I am fine. Swarnalekha tells Rajmata that Gayatri hasnt eaten anything since morning coz she is pure vegetarian & today nothing veg. has been cooked in palace. Gayatri's Brothers greet Ranaji. Mukund tells him that they have come to take Gayatri for Pagphera ritual. Ranaji nods. He announces that today onwards, Royal Palace will have a separate pure Vegetarian kitchen & nonveg. wouldnt be allowed inside this kitchen as Rani Gayatridevi's foodhabits are different & he respects her foodhabits. Gayatri is happy. The villains are unhappy. Rajmata tells Ranaji that she is very happy to see him caring so much for his Queen. He says he would have done the same for anyone. Gayatri's brothers thank him. Mukund wishes to welcome him with equal respect as he is giving to Gayatri, when he comes to take Gayatri home after Pagphera.

Lakhraaj stews in anger & vows to destroy Gayatri's respect to avenge his humiliation. Gayatri seeks elders' blessing before leaving for Pagphera. Kokila taunts her that she took responsibility of Royal feast & now leaving for her maaika so she is now worried about success of the event. Gayatri assures her that she'll return on time and see to it that the feast goes well. Rajmata blesses her for success of Royal feast. While seeking Badi Rani Maa's blessings, Gayatri's pallu falls from her head so Badi Rani Maa asks her to always make sure that her aanchal stays on her head only as its Ameerkot's Queen's aanchal and her aanchal holds Ameerkot's pride, honour & respect. The Royals' head will be held high with pride if Gayatri's aanchal covered her head, else their pride will be lost. She asks her to internalize that her pride defines Ameerkot's pride. Gayatri assures her she will.

Lakshraaj gives money to a goon & asks him to take Gayatri's saree off and humiliate her in public. Gayatri comes to Ranaji & tells him that husband comes to take wife home after Pagphera. She will wait for him. She turns to leave but stops and turns back. She finds her Saree pallu is stuck in Ranaji's watch. Saawariya yeh ishq toh ek ibadat hai song plays in BG. Ranaji removes her pallu from his watch. She leaves. He thinks he'd never go to her maaika to take her back home.

In car Gayatri & her Bro Shyam talk about Gayatri taking responsibility of Royal feast. She has already sent Mukund to market to get stuff for Royal feast. Shyam praises her & wishes for her success & respect in Palace. She gets emotional but he jokes about younger Bro Mukund & she smiles. She says she has to return back to Palace before evening so that she can prepare for royal feast. She has taken up this challenge for the sake of Ranaji's pride & she wont let anything wrong happen. Her Bro blesses her for success.

Badi Rani Maa instigates Ranaji that he need not sacrifice himself to fulfill his promise. She says, I know that Rajput's(Royal's) promise binds him but you had only promised to marry Gayatri; had not promised to fulfill the marriage too. I have seen you suffering due to this promise but wont let you sacrifice yourself. This alliance is just a political deal. Ranaji looks on. Gayatri & her Bro's car is passing on a deserted road thru fields. Lakhraaj's goons throw sharp nails on road. Car's tire punctures due to that. Bro-Sis get worried. Ranaji tells Badi Rani Maa he didnt get her. She says, today while discussing royal feast in honour of Gayatri's crowning as Queen, I remembered Sulakshana & royal feast thrown after her crowning. You were so happy then. Now that smile is lost. Ranaji gets sad. Badi Rani Maa incites him more that garland & noose both are put around neck... If a relationship is agreed upon happily then its like a garland but turns a noose if its forced. She says I cant see you suffocating due to this noose. He says am not suffocated.

Gayatri & her Bro are worried. The goon whom Lakshraaj had given money comes there. He asks Shyam to come with him & get the puncture repaired. Gayatri gestures her Bro to not go so he refuses. Bro-Sis decide to go home walking. Goon stops them that Queen of Ameerkot cant go walking. Right then Royal Guards arrive there to escort Gayatri. She says, am not yet crowned a Queen so can go walking. Seeing the Royal guards the goon leaves. Other goons think this time Gayatri got saved but soon the Royals will have to lose their pride.


Badi Rani Maa holds Ranaji's hand and tells him that he cant hide anything from her. She knows that he doesnt want to go to Gayatri's maaika for completing Pagphera ritual. He says, I only want to fulfill my duty. She says, you're King of Ameerkot & has many imp. things to do than such small routines. You dont need to go to Gayatri's maaika to bring her back, on your behalf someone else can go too. One shouldnt use sword when a simple weapon can do the job. Yashoda comes there with Queen's crown. Pointing to the crown Badi Rani Maa tells Ranaji that RaGa are King & Queen, not ordinary husband-wife. His duty is to follow Royal traditions; not ordinary couple's rituals. Noone can question him about this as he the King, the Ruler! She leaves. Yashoda tells Ranaji that Rajmata wants to know when he is going to Gayatri's maaika for completing Pagphera ritual. Ranaji is fuming.


At her maaika, Gayatri happily tells everyone about how she has taken up responsibility of Royal feast. Her Bhabhi Ambuja says she shouldnt have taken up such huge responsibility. Her Mom too feels concerned & offers to come there to help her. She tells her that its her Grihasthi & she'll manage. In palace, there are many people to help her. She is doing this for Ranaji's pride & she'll not let his pride get stained. She is waiting for Ranaji to come soon so that she can return to Palace & prepare for feast.

Ranaji tells Rajmata that he wont go to bring Gayatri back after Pagphera. She is stunned & says, you had promised... He says I fulfilled my promise to you. I have already been defeated by this deal made for the sake of Ameerkot's welfare but now I dont want to remember my defeat by fulfilling all rituals with Gayatri. After the crowning ceremony, she will become the Queen today & will get all rights of Rani Sulakshana but wont get a single right of my wife Sulakshana. You can send my car to bring her home. My car bears our Royal Symbol but I will not go. Rajmata says its a tradition that he ought to obey. He says, I have obeyed all traditions so far; doesnt matter if this one isnt obeyed. She says, Pagphera ritual isnt considered complete till Husband doesnt go to take wife home. People will taunt & I'll feel hurt. He asks, before giving Gayatri's portrait, did you ever think how hurt I'd feel? You know it very well that I havent filled Gayatri's maang with Sindoor & never will. Send my car so people will believe that I have gone for ritual. He leaves in anger. Rajmata looks on.


Goons are harassing Gayatri. They tell her that they wont kill her but will take away her clothes.
